I have no beef with Tom. He's a good man. But, broad generalizations just don't work for me.

It's like saying that all dirt is bad for kids to eat.

Twitter erupts over Trump claim that the moon 'is a part' of Mars
Alex Lasker,AOL.com 5 hours ago

President Donald Trump on Friday tweeted out a mysterious Mars comment that has social media users blasting off their best jokes.
"For all of the money we are spending, NASA should NOT be talking about going to the Moon - We did that 50 years ago," he wrote. "They should be focused on the much bigger things we are doing, including Mars (of which the Moon is a part), Defense and Science!"
The tweet came one day after NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine told USA Today that the space agency will not be able to land astronauts on the moon by 2024 unless Congress approves the Trump administration's $1.6 billion budget increase request for the project.
Although Mars, indeed, has its own moons — two, to be exact (named Phobos and Deimos) — the moon, which orbits Earth, is not a part of the Red Planet.
Naturally, many Twitter users were quick to make jokes about the seemingly erroneous comment.
"As JFK famously said, 'We choose to go to the Moon not because itis easy, but because it is Mars,'" 'Daily Show' employee Jason O. Gilbert joked.
"Moon is part of Mars is going to lead to moon t***hers and Q***n people joining forces," reporter Yashar Ali jokingly predicted.
CNN's Haley Bird pointed out that the president's statement, despite its awkward phrasing, may refer to "the fact that NASA's plans for Mars exploration deeply involve the Moon."
Dr. Eugene Gu, a surgeon and scientist specializing in pediatric heart and kidney diseases, backed up Bird in a Twitter thread of his own, predicting Trump may later claim his tweet referred to "using the moon as a staging point for a mission to Mars."
However, Dr. Gu said he took issue with such an explanation, slamming Trump's words as "confusing and incoherent beyond measure" and saying the president "speaks gibberish."
AOL.com has reached out to NASA for comment.

Long time ago, way back before you were born, there was this thing called Creation. It all popped out of point smaller than a speck of fly s**t. Everything came out of there--matter, energy, atoms, photons, molecules, gases, gravity, electromagnetism, maybe even some smoke. All of this stuff went sailing off into space where some of the stuff formed big clouds of gas that started to burn. Now we call those big burners stars. Other stuff began to coalesce and form hard objects like what we now call planets, moons, asteroids. And all this stuff is now what we call the universe. You could say then, yeah, the moon is part of Mars. Or better yet, everything is part of everything else.

They have determined that the moon has a distinct makeup that is different from the planets . But we expect trumps defenders to pull out all the stops.

Who has detirmined? "They"?

"They" told me I'd go blind as a teenager. I proved "Them" wrong, and only wear glasses now!

No, it is you that keeps misreading. It is okay, I understand, you can't help that you were born with such limited learning capabilities. The line I said, "Edit: Oh, and "You are just a h**eful person", expect that one too." That was said to moldy, it was to warn them to expect such moronic comments coming at him from Trump supporters where they will try to berate them for their "hatred" for having created this thread. Trump supporters love to accuse others of hatred just because some people are smart enough to see the t***h in relation to Trump.

You do know that if you are having trouble reading some people's posts, you have the option of not posting a reply to it. Nobody will get mad at you for exercising that right.

The Moon is similar to the Earth in that it has a crust, mantle, and core. The composition of the two bodies is similar, which is part of why scientists think the Moon may have formed from a large impact breaking off a piece of Earth when it was forming. Scientists have samples from the surface or crust of the Moon, but the composition of the inner layers is a mystery. Based on what we know about how planets and moons form, the core of the Moon is believed to be at least partly molten and probably consists primarily of iron, with some sulfur and nickel. The core likely is small, accounting for just 1 to 2 percent of the Moon's mass.

Your "serve" fell flat as you agree with someone's post that also went splat as they had no clue what they were talking about. The fool completely misread two posts in a row and showed their own stupidity and you essentially agreed with his stupidity so... I would really expect better from a teacher, someone entrusted with teaching kids.
