The poll from the Patriot Pulse was 90% yes, 10% no. My opinion is that Gun Free Zones are actually Open Season Zones on peace loving citizens. They should be abolished. Now, that being said, Come on all you off-topic crones who h**e Trump, have to push your a******n thoughts, think every topic has to be campaigned on every thread.

Probably a damn good idea to keep guns out of bars, stadiums, hospitals, courthouses, insane asylums, schools and any private property where the owner doesn't want them. I realize it is difficult for some abject cowards to be out in public without their gun as a man-child pacifier to sooth them from quaking in their boots. Frankly it is far better for them to see a shrink for treatment so they can function around others unarmed than it is to subject others to the risk of them going over the edge and blasting people.

We don’t need laws for that. Laws can be twisted and t***slated to be what you want.

Looks to me as though you are the one pushing "every topic" on your own thread, with a heavy does of "opposition hatred" mixed well throughout.

How many here can HONESTLY say that they have been held at gunpoint by anyone OTHER than law enforcement? This world is just such a dangerous place that one can't walk anywhere without some form of protection yet the majority of us DO just that and how many problems have we had in so doing? It would seem that in this instance at least, you make a very valid point, perhaps some people DO need to seek mental health professionals to deal with their out of control paranoia and fear issues.

Totally agree on the private property issue. My choice, your choice, every one's choice. The others I don't think are so absolute. Asylums? Can't think of any reason to have a gun, sure ban them. Courthouses: Well I hope the guards have em, otherwise not needed by anyone else. Hospitals; too open for me to have them banned, some nut job can sneak in and do damage to all those undeserving sick people using precious resources. Stadiums; definitely should not be gun free; perhaps only guards though, far too big a risk for a lone gunman to mow down hundreds. Bars; check at the door as they did in the cowboy days. Schools; really this is the big topic. NO! The easy pickings of children is offensive to me. Willing, highly trained, school personnel should be allowed to carry. You left off Cities: NO!!!!! Stupidest idea yet (not yours per se supposedly) Gun Free Zones are the hunting grounds of criminals.

I don't remember the second amendment requiring that everyone go to therapy. I can support some bans on the second amendment, similar to the ban on the first amendment to not be permitted to yell FIRE! in a crowded theater. But very limited to SPECIFIC cases. Unless of course, all movie goers are required to have therapy first. Actually not a bad idea for some movies.

Well there smarty I have and I know more than a few others who have. Do you know the first thing about personal protection? It looks like you don't. Do you know the difference between being prepared and being paranoid? Its huge. When seconds count the police are only minutes away - and its not their fault they can't get there. So you can hope the bad guy goes away - good luck with that. You can curl up in a ball and plead for your life - good luck with that too. Or you can be proactive and know what to do. Its not about shooting people.

I know people who have been grabbed or stalked in nice areas in broad daylight. It can happen anywhere, anytime. Most people are fortunate and have never been exposed to or seen violence up close and personal.

Time to change your moniker. Lol

I have dip stick., and only takes one time and one trigger pull. I conceal carry but not if I am drinking alcohol . Most of us hope we never have to pull our gun, but police response time sucks. Property owners have every right to have no guns allowed. Fine, this is America. Being prepared doesn't mean scared.

Gun free zones where law enforcement isn't present isn't smart, it's an advertisement for the deranged who want to k**l.
