As in an earlier thread I posted, Barr continues to show himself as a stooge for the president
What is enormously curious and perplexing about Barr's blatant toeing of the Trump line is why so astonishingly blatant? He has given up all sense and appearances of being independent: why do that? It is outrageous actions by an Attorney General, blurring the lines of checks and balances, the separation of powers. Put this in a fictional novel and it would be rejected as too absurd to believe; at least a facade of neutrality should be expected. Yet Barr shows none. He is that sure of the president's autocratic grasp on the office he feels no need to be coy or proper.
This is very definitely a "constitutional crisis."
