Trump's Personal Attorney Pressured And Threatened Flynn...Flynn Had It On Tape

Meanwhile Barr is talking on FOX news about investigating the investigators. I'm hearing nothing about the right talking about this solid new evidence the court ordered released to the public, including tapes of Trump's attorney pressuring and threatening Flynn.

Barr said in his conformation hearing that this exact kind of conduct would result in an indictment.

I expect silence here, too much reality and facts for the right.

Dems need to put their articles of impeachable offenses together including the current round of obstructing congress and impeach to shut down this BS about investigating the investigators. The investigators did their work and they have Trump on multiple cases of obstruction...PERIOD

Barr works for the DOJ, the FBI, the government, and the people...not Trump. He needs to act like a prosecutor and read the report, not hide it.

You love investigations until the investigations involve your guys then you scream like a stuck pig. This is why you are arguably the biggest phony on OPP.

How many times have people tried to penetrate your thick skull with facts? The AG of the US is a principle officer in the Executive Branch, he is accountable to and answers directly to the CEO of the Executive Branch, the POTUS. The AG is in fact an advisor to the POTUS. The Executive Branch includes the DOJ of which the FBI is the enforcement agency. The POTUS is the Commander-in-Chief of our armed forces, he outranks everyone in the military.

Bottom line, the POTUS works for the American people, and you want to destroy him. How sick can one get?

Are you missing how many times Trump has told people to lie for him, to change the official records?

Nixon got indicted and was going to get impeached for the samer thing, Clinton was impeached for lying and obstructing investigations.

Why should Trump be any different, why should he get a free pass when he has done it to a greater degree than the others?

It is actually the job of the AG, as a separate entity charged with oversight of the executive branch, to act upon evidence indicating crimes committed by the president. The DOJ not being able to indict is a far sight different than refusing to support congress with what they need to do since they can bring that about.

Actually they've been playing them on real news networks, I guess FOX isn't covering it?

Apparently Flynn had tapes of conversations with Russian officials too.

As the public has a chance to actually see these things and be able to see they are real it changes people's opinions

Spoken by a guy who doesn't have a clue what's in the Mueller report except what Barr and Trump say.

How many times have people tried to penetrate your thick skull with facts? The duties and authorities granted the Attorney General of the United States does not include oversight of the Executive Branch. Moreover, the office of the AG of the US is not a "separate entity", not a 4th branch of government, it is an integral department within the Executive Branch.

U.S. Department of Justice. Organization, Mission & Functions Manual: Attorney General, Deputy and Associate

The position of Attorney General was created by the Judiciary Act of 1789. In June 1870 Congress enacted a law entitled “An Act to Establish the Department of Justice.” This Act established the Attorney General as head of the Department of Justice and gave the Attorney General direction and control of U.S. Attorneys and all other counsel employed on behalf of the United States. The Act also vested in the Attorney General supervisory power over the accounts of U.S. Attorneys and U.S. Marshals.

The mission of the Office of the Attorney General is to supervise and direct the administration and operation of the Department of Justice, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Bureau of Prisons, Office of Justice Programs, and the U.S. Attorneys and U.S. Marshals Service, which are all within the Department of Justice.

The principal duties of the Attorney General are to:

Represent the United States in legal matters.

Supervise and direct the administration and operation of the offices, boards, divisions, and bureaus that comprise the Department.

Furnish advice and opinions, formal and informal, on legal matters to the President and the Cabinet and to the heads of the executive departments and agencies of the government, as provided by law.

Make recommendations to the President concerning appointments to federal judicial positions and to positions within the Department, including U.S. Attorneys and U.S. Marshals.

Represent or supervise the representation of the United States Government in the Supreme Court of the United States and all other courts, foreign and domestic, in which the United States is a party or has an interest as may be deemed appropriate.

Perform or supervise the performance of other duties required by statute or Executive Order.

In 2009, McConnell told Republicans that henceforth their job was to destroy Obama. And they blocked and stonewalled everything Obama said and did for 8 years. How sick is that?

There was evidence against Nixon. Convicting on wishful thinking is not the law of the land. And no. The AG's job is NOT as oversight on the President!
