Intelligence sources report 4 oil tankers anchored in the Straits of Hormuz were sabotaged by Iran or Iranian allies and no major damage occurred. Sources say this minor event may have been an Iran backed attempt to provoke a response.

We have long known that Iranian explosive engineers have supplied insurgents with IEDs responsible for killing thousands of American and coalition troops in Iraq and Syria. Iranian proxies such as Hezbollah operating in Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Iraq, and elsewhere are responsible for the deaths of thousands, mostly civilians. Iran is also a major supplier of arms, training and funds for Hamas in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.

Meet the Proxies: How Iran Spreads Its Empire through Terrorist Militias

Iran, above all others, is the agitator, the instigator, the provocateur, and the perpetrator behind the entire upheaval in the Middle East. There is no doubt that the United States and Israel are well prepared to kick Iran's ass back to the stone age if they push this much further.

Your problem, lonely boy, is that president Trump lives rent free in your skull, his presence there has blinded you completely.

Trump cannot live rent free in his skull, or he might have gotten at least a small amount of Trumps brains.

And why, in any blasphemous name would Iran want to provoke a response???

If anything goes down, Iran will be blasted into a rubble heap depending on how much ordinance we dump on them..

with Bolton and company chomping for 20 years to get Iran, the minor damage done to the ships look much more like one of your false flag incidents than anything else..

Just building an excuse for another oil war, this one with long time american oil enemy Iran..

It seem so obvious, the war hawks are in tears trying to get it started with Iran..

a rouge nation is out and about..

What makes me gnash my teeth is that it seems to be my own beloved nation on a mission to kill.

Bastards... all of em..

I'm not ready to buy that Iran is behind this, since from their perspective a war with the US would almost certainly result in a regime change. And I don't believe President Trump desires war at this time, since it could derail the economy. But I do believe there are those who would love nothing better than for the US to get involved in a shooting war with Iran or NK or even Venezuela for their own nefarious reasons. Considering that the pendulum of investigations is starting to swing against the left, i'm expecting there will be something big happening soon, call it a false flag or whatever. They need to redirect the nation's attention away from what is potentially about to be revealed regarding their coup attempt.

You don't know those Jihadists very well, do you? They are suicidal, and their leaders don't give a flying falafel about the consequences. One thing is certain, neither the U.S. nor Israel will fire the first shot.

When the 1st Iranian revolution established the Islamic regime, Iran wasted no time provoking the United States and Israel, and they have been at it ever since, primarily through proxies.

Whatever big thing may happen soon, it definitely will not be a false flag.

We would not blast them into a " rubble heap ". The Left Wing Press would show Iranian Children being murdered by American bombs and America would be the bad guy. You remember when the Democratically Controlled Press did that during the Iraq War in order to hurt America and damage George W. Bush ????????????????????????????????????????????????

Iran is being slowly strangled by American Policies. Why do you think that desperate Iranian Leaders would blink on provoking an American Response. If you could take off your anti Trump fog glasses for one second you might see what is going on.

I don't think war will make Trump electable, the Democrats will run on the Peace ticket and that always wins.

Particularly against an enemy that can't lose, I can say for sure the al-Wahhab guys don't want to pay for 100k US Troops holidaying in GCC States, because if they do that real Salafists will revolt, the only place loyal that would accept 100k US Troops are Jordan and Kurdish parts of Syria but I doubt if the Wahhabis will pay for that either.

And if they did Jordan wouldn't accommodate them with China and Russia supporting Iran, I could be wrong but the King of Jordan like the King of Saudi Arabia is very much a supporter of Russia and China.

The thing to remember is that cheap hits against Iran will be met with disguised hits against KSA /UAE by disgruntled Salafists that many Citizens of those two Countries support that's what the sabotage of UAE was all about, Trump has to factor this assessment in to his decisions.

Your take on things is as likely a possibility as any. My hope is that regardless of the provocation, Trump doesn't let Pompeo or Bolton or anyone else dictate the course of action. Our response should be measured and and direct.
