did I brag about my Osprey nest pole?? How have I missed that..

years ago, the electric company was replacing poles up on the black top,I asked for one of the old ones and why..

then I left, came home next day, they had delved the pole, placed it and secured in just where I had told them I wanted it.. then about a week later someone from some wildlife group came out and put a platform on top..

for several years nothing at all, then 3 years ago I got a nesting pair and they or some like them keep coming back..

so I have my very own osprey..

taxing was the subject years ago when the f****l f**l people made the knee jerk reaction for the followers of the right wing..

I have not heard anything about taxation for years, although it does seem to be a good idea. with the right wingers thinking they would have to pay more, much conservation of energy would take place.

conservation remains the number one way to reduce the CO2 production..

went to this tiny school up through 7th grade. tiny place, town of 700, but they are great in robotics, shooting and wrestling..

Far off the subject, but every time t***smission lines get in the post I recall an old western movie i watch as a near grown kid..

Good guys in a big battle with the bad guys and in the background t***smission lines were marching across the ridge..

near as bad as vapor trail in another of those 50s cowboy flixs..

Maybe some really big trees will grow up and hide that stuff.. from you view..

I wouldn't mind so bad if some of the power generated benefits us, but it doesn't at all. It all goes south. Our electric bill has done nothing but increase over the past 10 years.

That would be irritating..

I have to drive a few miles to see any of those towers..

But up on the black top, we have the largest wooden poles I have ever seen.

They are laminated and much higher then the ones they replaced, they march cross country and join the before mentioned towers at a small station sitting in the woods..
