Barr Announces Investigation of Origins of Russia Probe Underway for Weeks
By BarbWire - May 15, 2019

In 1999, the Attorney General Janet Reno named John Durham as special prosecutor to oversee an investigation of the Boston office of the FBI due to corruption involving informants.

His investigation led to the freeing of several men who had been wrongly convicted and the conviction of a corrupt FBI agent.

In 2008, Durham was appointed by then Attorney General Michael Mukasey to investigate the CIA’s destruction of videotapes made during the interrogation of detainees.

In 2009, Durham was appointed by then Attorney General Eric Holder to investigate the CIA’s use of ‘enhanced interrogation techniques.

In 2017, Durham was appointed by President Donald Trump to serve as the US Attorney for the District of Connecticut.

In 2019, Durham was appointed by Attorney General William Barr to investigate the shady origins of the Russia collusion investigation that targeted Donald Trump.

Fox News – US attorney John Durham has been reviewing origins of Russia probe ‘for weeks’: source – The U.S. attorney appointed to examine the origins of the Russia investigation has been working on his review “for weeks,” a person familiar with the process told Fox News on Tuesday, to probe “all intelligence collection activities” related to the Trump campaign during the 2016 p**********l e******n.

Fox News reported on Monday that Attorney General Bill Barr had assigned John Durham, the U.S. attorney in Connecticut, to conduct the inquiry into alleged misconduct and alleged improper government surveillance on the Trump campaign in 2016 as well as whether Democrats were the ones who improperly colluded with foreign actors.

Durham, known as a “hard-charging, bulldog” prosecutor, according to a source, will focus on the period before Nov. 7, 2016—including the use and assignments of FBI informants, as well as alleged improper issuance of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants. Durham was asked to help Barr to “ensure that intelligence collection activities by the U.S. Government related to the Trump 2016 P**********l Campaign were lawful and appropriate.”

A source also told Fox News that Barr is working “collaboratively” on the investigation with FBI Director Chris Wray, CIA Director Gina Haspel, and Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, and that Durham is also working directly with Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz, who is currently reviewing allegations of misconduct in issuance of FISA warrants, and the role of FBI informants during the early stages of the investigation…

Looking at John Durham’s past, he seems to be a great investigative prosecutor.

With his reputation of working for both Republicans and Democrats, anyone involved in the shady beginning of the Russian investigation should be getting rather nervous, if not scared that their days of freedom are coming to an end.

They should be especially nervous when it was revealed that Durham has been conducting this investigation for some weeks prior to Barr’s announcement.

The fact that a few former intelligence officials are in frantic backstabbing mode might be a good sign.

I hope and pray that this won't amount to another hollow Clinton investigation.

Ahem. Kemmer. Bogus FISA warrants with intent to remove a president is treason. The Russian collusion attack has failed, probably because of its spread across every bureau in Washington and three or four foreign countries contributing to the effort to remove Trump from office. No way around it.
You held the advantage for a while, but some in Washington suddenly think that it's time to stop the c**p and punish the t*****rs.

Listen slick, if there ever was a concerted effort to remove Trump from office, today we wouldn’t be laboring under his insane and criminal administration.
