So Pete I apologize Sir:

I redid a complete search and could not find anywhere what political party Judge Gregory S. Ross belonged too !

He in fact could very well be a Republican and if that's the case I'd be just as hard on him as if he were a liberal Democrat !

However to his credit whether he was a Democrat or a Republican he rescinded his order and this is what I found !

One good thing about it was The assistant prosecutor in charge of the case, Eric G. Scott, was fired on October 18, 2017 .

Christopher Mirasolo custody case (2017)

Ross awarded Christopher Mirasolo joint legal custody of an 8-year-old boy in September 2017 after DNA testing established Mirasolo's paternity of the child. He put the custody order on hold on October 10, 2017, and rescinded it on October 17, 2017.

Mirasolo allegedly raped the boy's mother in 2008, when she was 12 years old. The Detroit News reported that the original charges for the assault carried a potential sentence of 25 years to life, but Mirasolo received a one-year plea deal for a reduced charge of third-degree criminal sexual conduct. He was released to take care of his sick mother after six and a half months in county jail. After his release, he was convicted of a second sexual assault, on a victim between the ages of 13 and 15, and served additional time.

In the October 17 order rescinding his original custody ruling, Ross said he was unaware of Mirasolo's sexual misconduct convictions when he ruled in the case. "The question that everyone is asking is 'How could a judge do such a thing?'" he said. "The answer is that this judge was not aware, did not have knowledge of the fact that the defendant raped the plaintiff and the child was born as a result."

Sanilac County Prosecutor James Young, whose office initiated the custody hearing when Mirasolo's victim applied for state aid, released a statement to the Port Huron Times Herald apologizing for the handling of the case. The assistant prosecutor in charge of the case, Eric G. Scott, was fired on October 18, 2017. "This action [firing Scott] is the result of the prosecutor's review of the office policy, procedures and the legal review of Mr. Scott's handling of the paternity case involving Christopher Mirasolo," the Sanilac County Prosecutor's Office said in a press release.

That statement is soo offensive on so many levels ! There was no rape. The Holy Spirit overshadowed her and caused her seed to grow. The angel explained the plan to her and she consented. That is not a rape.

Jesus’ Birth Foretold

26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee called Nazareth, 27 to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, of the descendants of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. 28 And coming in, he said to her, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you.” 29 But she was very perplexed at this statement, and kept pondering what kind of salutation this was. 30 The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; 33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.” 34 Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I am a virgin?” 35 The angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God. 36 And behold, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month. 37 For nothing will be impossible with God.” 38 And Mary said, “Behold, the bonds***e of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

I know of not one single person who thinks rape is a preferred means of procreation, Christian or otherwise, including any liberals. If God can create the universe, He certainly can make an egg develop into a human body without the 'help' of a human male. How depraved is your thinking to say such a thing?

It's no use he and his kind won't believe the t***h that is until they are standing in front of this God they love to mock and when their judgement is handed down to them and they are cast into the pit where the god Satan is they will know that they screwed up big time !

Truly?

Are you for forced a******ns?

The article mentioned the girl's decision to have the child... I am sure she did not come to the decision on her own... But with the support of her family...

For some a situation like this might entail nothing more than a quick trip to the clinic... For others it is a deeply troubling question of what the correct decision should be...

You belittle both those who make the decision to carry the child to term and those who decide to abort the child after careful consideration when you throw such accusations around...

And I don't appreciate be called a maggot ... (I know you weren't generalizing Just teasing..)

Hope you are well Peter...

For God so loved Peter S that He gave His only begotten Son, that if he believes in Him, Peter won't perish, but have eternal life.
(a slight paraphrase on my part). Peter's still breathing, so there's still hope for him.

Its amusing to remember you once saying there’s more ‘h**e’ coming from the right yet time and time again you call others stupid, morons, etc. You’re a pretentious boor.

What would you call someone who does not bother to get their facts straight before posting? True, I have made some mistakes, defended someone from an attack from another and mis-attributed who I was defending as was the case earlier today, but I made sure that WHAT I was defending them from was accurate. I could understand IF what they were being attacked for could be taken in multiple ways but as I looked at their comments from several angles and could not mis-interpret the comments in any way that could lead to the attacks they received, I can only assume either deliberate deception or stupidity to be the cause of the attacks on the posters.

Another thing you fail to consider, mostly because you refuse to believe the t***h or that you do see the t***h but refuse to acknowledge that fact, I am NOT a liberal. I am a somewhat liberal conservative, I can be just as h**eful of others as ANY conservative can be, especially since they are so h**eful of others with opposing views. Not everybody with conservative leanings idolize Trump, those with the honesty and the sense to know the t***h of Trump, they don't appreciate him very much.

Actually, knowing you're a Lefty and you blamed a Liberal judge, I took it to be sarcasm. That is why the sentence ends in a question mark. I am quite certain you do not support that decision.

The reason a 12 year old girl had her rapist's baby is due to her and her family's decisions.

However, as is your MO, you posted two year old news and didn't bother with the context or the history of the case. The judge claimed he knew nothing of the circumstances of the case other than that the prosecutor brought him DNA evidence and a claim against the biological father for the money and food stamps the girl was asking from the county.

When he found out what the situation was, he immediately reversed his decision and the DA fired the prosecutor who brought the case to the judge.

Yeah, when I was trying to find information on the judge in question, I did see the other judge listed, he came up in my search too, I just ignored that one as he wasn't the one I was looking to research at the time.

I agree, his rescinding his verdict was the only RIGHT thing to do, he just shouldn't have made that verdict in the first place. I wonder how much flak it took for him to decide to reverse his verdict. I also agree that the assistant prosecutor being fired for his part in this was for the best, what kind of a-hole would lie and say she consented to any of that? Because of all this, the rapist now has her address and she is not allowed to move more than 100 miles from where she lived when the proceedings started, that and his name now appears on the child's birth certificate. All of this because she decided she needed a measly $260 a month in food stamps and health insurance for her child.
