E*******l v**es decides the winner of the e******n. All States Representative choose the e*****rs and all states participates. Framers decided the e*******l college because it includes all US State representing to participate in the e*******l process.
Amendment XII of the Constitution defines how the e*******l process was created.
There were already 5 incidents that the p**********l candidate with more e*******l college v**es, had won over the candidate with more popular v**es but lesser e*******l v**es.
Latest one was in 2000 when George W.H. Bush won the e*******l of 271 vs Gore of 266, though Gore had more popular v**e of 537,000.
The other e*******l-popular v**e mismatches came in 1876 and 1888; in all four instances the Democratic nominee ended up the loser. (In the 1824 e******n, which was contested between rival factions of the old Democratic-Republican Party, Andrew Jackson won a plurality of the popular and e*******l v**e, but because he was short of an E*******l College majority the e******n was thrown to the House of Representatives, which chose runner-up John Quincy Adams.)
Hillary Clinton is still wagging her mouth, despite that she only got 227 e*******l v**es compared to Trump of 304 e*******l v**es.
Fact: Her edge on the popular v**es of 2.3 million had so many questionable i*****l a***n and convicts who v**ed for her as found in California, New York, Hawaii, Chicago, and other blue states
