The FBI has discovered an Islamic terror training camp outside of Tuskegee, Alabama, according to reports.

A piece of property in Macon County has been described by an FBI search warrant as a “makeshift military-style obstacle course” belonging to a radical Islamist group led by Siraj Wahhaj, the same individual who was arrested in 2018 for running a terror training compound in New Mexico.

We have known of any number of training sites within our country and all we here is the FBI knows of them and is mentoring them.. WTH does that mean?? Arrest and charge these dangerous threats to the security and welfare of our Nation!! S**k of the damn PCBS that will ultimately be our demise if we do not act!!

These revelations come just days after FBI Assistant Director for the Counterterrorism Division Michael McGarrity testified on Capitol Hill that they have 850 open domestic terrorism investigations currently open. ~~~What are they waiting for another attack before they do anything??

“Just because you’re in a small town or a small state does not mean you might not potentially have individuals engaged in the types of activities that would call into question threats to national security,” said Tim Fuhrman, former FBI Special Agent of the Mobile, Alabama, field office.

The property, similar to another compound in New Mexico the group is now linked to where federal prosecutors say Wahhaj and four other suspects were training children to carry out deadly terror attacks on American soil.

FBI Assistant Director for the Counterterrorism Division Michael McGarrity told lawmakers on Capitol Hill there are 850 open domestic terrorism investigations, with 40% racially motivated violent extremism.

"The threat of domestic terrorism exists in every region of the United States and affects all walks of life."
In the Alabama case the group may not have carried out an attack, but the remains of a child believed to belong to Wahhaj, who is being charged with kidnapping were also found on the property.

For other small town cases, Fuhrman says the engaged citizen is often the best defense

"Sometimes if you see something it isn’t suspicious. It’s someone exercising their first amendment rights or living the way they do that you may not agree with but does not pose a criminal or national security threat but sometimes they actually are."

Not discussed was another side to the 67-year-old imam’s story: Prosecutors identified Wahhaj as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center (WTC) bombing. In sworn testimony Wahhaj described Omar Abdel-Rahman, the “Blind Sheik” convicted of plotting the attacks and sentenced to life in prison, as a “respected scholar.”

Wahhaj also boasts connections to Muslim Brotherhood–linked groups. He has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and has been a keynote speaker at Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) conventions. ISNA and CAIR were among 245 organizations listed as unindicted co-conspirators in a 2008 court case involving the Holy Land Foundation, an Islamic charity convicted of funding terrorism.

That trial uncovered Muslim Brotherhood documents from 1991 detailing a strategic plan for the United States that involved “a grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within” through nonviolent means. Citing evidence of ties to the terrorist group Hamas, a federal judge later rejected an appeal by CAIR and ISNA to have their names stricken from the unindicted co-conspirators list.

Wahhaj’s fundraising for IR-USA raises questions, too. The financial statements of Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW), IR-USA’s parent organization, list two contributing groups with ties to Al-Qaeda: Al-Islah and Charitable Society for Social Welfare, both in Yemen. IRW also received contributions in 2013 and 2014 from World Assembly of Muslim Youth, a Saudi-based organization that has sponsored terrorism in Bosnia, Israel, and India.
