What I don't get, and pardon my stupidity, but if you are not under the influence of Pot, what does it matter if they detect it ? With booze, once you sober up, you are good to go. If you are no longer under the influence of Pot, but it is still detectable in a urine or blood test say a few days after you used it, what then ? I mean once it becomes legal, if you are not intoxicated, will you still fail the drug test ?
That is a real conundrum. I don't think they have a way to test in the field for pot sobriety yet, do they?. Makes it difficult to stop and arrest anyone for driving under the influence. How much does a person need in their system to be under the influence? (And some people I know drive better this way. I had a friend who could not take a test in school without getting buzzed, probably because that is the way he studied everything and always went to classes this way.)
