On this otherwise rainy, cold, dreary morning, I wanted to share an early morning picture of a rainbow that appeared outside our condo a couple of weeks ago. Nice way to start the morning.

hi, ACP45, ex Jersey here but I spent some great times in your state back in the 70's in Point Judith at the old Dutch Inn. Traveled the area, great state and people. I was having lunch with my then wife in Georges of Galilee and we were talking about possibly relocating to the area and me suggesting to the wife that she go up for a week to look around at jobs & housing. The waitress overheard my wife ask how'd she get around without a car and suggested that if my wife came up by train she'd meet her at the station and the wife could stay with her for the week and use her car while she's at work. Where do you find people like that today? Thanks for the memory

We just relocated here in RI last June after living in NJ all our lives. We enjoyed H****rdon County NJ (very rural) but are very happy with RI. Very nice people here as you have stated.

ACP45, I'm sure you'll enjoy it and when you get your bearings take a ride down to Point Judith. No matter which direction you come from it's a really nice ride. I checked the area on Google about a year ago and Georges was still there, try the Quahaug cakes. I'm in south Florida these days, moved down for the beaches, haven't been on the sand in years - go figure.
