Same here. They don’t all grow up this way. Its impossible for most of us to understand the h**e because we didn’t grow up with it nor has it been in our families for generations.

Yes. I remember years ago talking to a friend of mine who was a former Muslim (tho she grew up here) when she had a tone of "confessing" she had grown up Muslim. I said, "So? It's a religion". She said no, its different. It took her a long time to tell me how. Then I felt awful for her and rage toward the subsuming of women in that religion.

It's different alright. Its belief system is a political system more than a religion.

IMO it's a 'cult' disguised as a religion complete with it's own Sharia laws.
