Agree or Disagree?

It is pretty apparent to me that the rest of the world is starting to be less intimidated by the Big Bully tactics of US anymore. Turkey has thumbed it's nose at the US and will purchase the Russian air defense system in spite of being threatened with the suspension of the F35 sales. Germany said "No" to US liquid gas shipments and is going with Russian gas. Egypt has told the US to take a hike on the concept of an Arab NATO to combat Iran and protect Israel. Venezuela, Iran, you name the country- threats, intimidation, oil embargos, subversion, false f**gs - countries are starting to push back, and will continue to do so as the US Petrodollar and financial mechanisms are replaced by other alternatives. This article does a nice job of putting these things in perspective.

Agree or Disagree? br br It is pretty apparent to... (show quote)

Trump covers his ineptitude and fragility with a loud mouth. He doesn’t have the stones to go toe to toe with the press core much ess world leaders and instead tweets lied from his golden crapper in the middle of the night. His i***t minions buy the BS but he is outclassed and outsmarted by everyone from Putin to Kim. Incidentally the two are meeting in Russia now to have a laugh at Trumps expense.

Another depression is fast approaching, when the rest of the world applies the same tactics the US uses with economic sanctions. The "America first" agenda has resulted in a world wide "America not at all".

You have no idea what you're talking about - again!
Trump already has plainly reversed the formerly misguided trajectory of the United States foreign policy. While Obama profusely apologized to other world leaders for America's superiority, Trump trumpets it. Rightfully so. And in any area where America doesn't enjoy a clearly dominant position, Trump plays his hand like the excellent poker player he is. He knows a pair of balls beats every other hand.

Agree, and to my mind not at all surprising. A country cannot be a world leader and nationalist at the same time. While we may still be a world power, we have given up the mantle of leader because all nations know that America comes first now. What else would one expect when we alienate our erstwhile allies?

I don't think other countries are 'pushing back' as much as reading the writing on the wall. They are no longer able to rely on us and that is a rational stance to take.

I would much prefer Trump's approach of MAGA than Obama's traveling the world apologizing for the U.S.

It's easy, Trump craps on something and everyone calls it crap. There's your bedtime story for today.

Want a glass of warm milk and a Vicodin for the bed check at Geezer Home?

You want another burr head do nothing back in there. Trump has brought the working man back to life and that is always good. if we get a depression it will be because the burr bead or something like him is back in
office.
You say the world is revolting against the U S,is it because we stopped buying their friend ship? Its getting tiresome watching these dictators take our money and then turn on us.

They also thought the European Union was the way to the future, until they found out that some countries are deadbeats that take, but won't contribute. It's ok. Let them go their merry way. It will be great to motivate American production again. Thrilled to see it! We have a great deal of resources in the U.S. and it will be grand to watch green people begging us to produce their fuel oil for a change. Now they will have something truly productive to do - survive.
