Luke 12 2nd half

Verse 31 - 34

Life would be so much better if everyone followed the commandments instead of finger pointing and trying to police them.

Verse 35 - 40

Christ will return like a thief in the night. I once met a guy that broke into houses, and asked him what does he do if he comes to rob a place and they are at home? He replied I just come back later. There will be no rapture. If Christ returns and we are awaiting His return, He will just come back later. We will least expect Him to return when we think He is already here. When He returns, we won’t be glad to see Him. Read Matthew 24:30.

Verse 41 - 44

Christians today are looked down on. Jesus says we shall be like sheep in the midst of wolves. We should endure persecution until God lifts us up,

Verse 45 - 48

God may not come for everybody, He may just come for you. The choices we make for the actions we take determine how we be looked at in the next life.
And it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement.
Hebrews 9:27

Verse 49 - 53

Friendship with the world is enmity with God. Christ didn’t come so that we would be accepted by deceived minds This scripture is similar to Micah 7:6.

Verse 54 - 57

We have weather ;predicted every day. But we don’t look at the world outside of ourselves to see how society has regressed. We should not judge by appearance.

Verse 59 and 59

Try to settle out of court.

It's great of you posting scripture with understandable commentary.

Scripture does not support your analogy of a friend that won't come into an occupied house. Because he wouldn't does not support scripture, accutually Contridictes scripture.

Jesus returning to take his bride for the marriage supper and this events timeline being during "The time of Jacob's Troubles", also God promising to never subject his church to his wrath among dozens of scriptures supports the catching away, snatching away or "rapture" is /has scriptural grounding.
Surprisingly many weighing in on this topic often and wrongly confuse many verses out of context meant in context to the physical return of Jesus to Jerusalem marking the end of the time of Jacob's Troubles and beginning of his 1000 year rein on earth.
We are commanded to look up, be prepared keeping our lamps full of oil, commanded to look up anticipating "the hope"
Luke is one of three views of the same events or experiences giving us also perspective in Mathew and Mark. But we also have context throughout the old Testament supporting the church (body of Christ) being taken away, out from the time of Jacob's Troubles and a great deal in revelations along with Thessalonians among other books.

As for Jesus won't come if we are seeking him?

Mark 13:35 King James Version (KJV)

35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at evening , or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
