Seriously, I am serious about my religious beliefs. I don't know how you could have missed that. I've mentioned it many times.

One can only judge an individual by how they appear before you. It's like an alcoholic claiming to be sober all while acting very, very drunk...

What is puzzling is that you seem to have set some standard or criteria by which you determine who is and who isn't a Christian. You have said a number of times that you personally know some number of Christians and that they meet your standards, but no Christian on OPP does.

I don't know every Christian on OPP but I don't think my criteria is all that puzzling--it is simply behaving as if you believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ not If you’re not one of us you're an evile MF so the hell with you. The author of this thread called for the k*****g of liberal Atheists and more than a few of you seem content with the notion of a civil war with those who oppose you. I don't think Christ once called for the destruction of any and all who don't think as he does but that is a classic example of F*****m. Perhaps therein lies the problem--CC views are closer to F*****t than they are Christian; of cruelty, not Christianity.

As for you, what have you done to offer that you don't think as they do? You seem more content to attack Liberal Democrats than you do someone who would dearly love to k**l them.

Under no circumstance have I ever thought of atheists as evil. There is the potential for evil to manifest in all human beings. And, I have never advocated the k*****g of anyone unless they truly deserved it. I know little about the author of this thread, so I couldn't possibly take him to task for something I know nothing about. When Sicilianthing was here posting his incessant calls for civil war, I responded to him many times and never once approved of his mission to k**l federal agents and go to war with the government. In fact, I think the man is seriously warped.

Having said that, a civil war in America is not off the table, it remains a possibility. Progessivism is alien to our American system of government and our way of life. There is no possible bridge across that divide, no comprising solution. If, God forbid, it ever comes to that, I have no doubts which side I will be on.

I took the time to post a short narrative of my experiences at an orphanage in Mexico. Does that sound like a man who advocates or practices cruelty?

I spent 20 years of my life as a professional firefighter. Our job was saving lives and property, helping people when they needed it most. I've seen grown men cry because they couldn't save a child, I am one of them. I have felt the joy and sense of reward when we did save the lives of people trapped in burning buildings and in many other life threatening situations. The firefighters I had the honor and pleasure to work with were strong, decent family men, most of them Christians, and we were all committed to the dangerous work of helping people in extreme distress. I could write an essay on one fire emergency in which we managed to save the lives of two young children trapped on the 2nd floor of a burning home and the wonderful gesture of gratitude they and their parents presented us. That experience alone validated beyond measure why we were firefighters. Does this sound like a man who advocates or practices cruelty?

Now, please explain your logic in the statement that Christian Conservatives views "are closer to F*****t than they are Christian".
