What we so called "deniers" rebel against is the claim of man caused c*****e c****e that "environuts" actually believe we have the capability to control. Environuts are like the pissant with an erection laying on his back on an elm leaf floating down the Mississippi River screaming at the top of his lungs, "raise the drawbridge, raise the drawbridge."

Talking about G****l W*****g reminded me of Earth Day. The day we set aside to honor the false god, Mother Earth. May I make a few suggestions on how to show your respect to this sacred holladay

1. Save all used motor oil and on Earth Day dump it in a freshwater river or lake.

2. Use the choke on all gas engines.

3. Make a burn offering to Mother Earth fueled with plastic and old refrigerators

4. In California grab some Alka Seltzer and go Sea Gulf fishing

5. Go Seal bashing.

6. Melt some ice.

7. Go endangered species hunting.

8. Drain your Freon.

9 Chop down a tree.

10. Hollow out your catalytic converter

11. and for the Liberal minded crap your pants

Amen. I grew up at my Grandmas in upstate NY. in the finger lakes region. We were at almost 1500' above sea level and every year we pulled rocks out of the fields and almost all of the rocks had sea fossil imprints on them. Mike

I didn't realize that I had a groupy lurking here. I appoint you president of the Blade Runner AGW Denier fan club. You can set up your own system for recruitment, membership requirements and dues. I have better things to do than listen to a doomsayer rag on about the world burning up and that we humans are causing it. AGW is pure unadulterated progressive propaganda. It's bulls**t.

Save your money. The book is a diatribe about g****l w*****g and "the fiction of the free market" among other things. It ends in a polemic about c*****e c****e in our current world.
But as to how intellectual development was impacted by the Little Ice Age, about the only evidence the author seems to put forward is that they both happened at the same time. And as any beginning student in statistics can tell you, correlation does not mean causation.
The author seems to want you to take it purely on faith that the intellectual developments of the Seventeenth Century were impacted by the Ice Age, without presenting any other evidence than that the potato replaced grain crops in northern Europe.

“There has been no warming for at least ten years” ? Year after year in the past decade the average temperature across the globe has broken records. The ice caps are definitely not coming back. They are steadily diminishing. You have serious problems with where you get your data.
