What a day.....

wo w a great day. melted nearly all the snow..
People came out of the wood work..
first a bunch of shooters, used the natural "safe" spot always used for shooting. all the assorted bang sticks plus the stuff they can explode by shooting it.. for get what it is called.. plenty of bang. bet all the squirrels are hidden for a week..
at about the same time a group showed up with young kids to make maple syrup from a few of our trees. they have been puttering around for a week or more, used a gas stove to make the syrup from a weeks worth of sap.. young kids 4 or 5 grade ....
well we got a jar of syrup then they said they would like to do it next year again..
In the house, was a bunch of women sewing stuff>... why, i have no idea.. but they did give me lunch..
Then my new dog needed to discover what all those people had been doing in our woods.. so he d**gged me along..
so this old geezer is worn and I can not recall what i was going to post about..
this was my day today and all i got..

Worse than that is when the Welsh Terrier takes them and hides them under the bed.

Everyone should do like me, and keep a spare house key in the car, then lock the car so nobody can get the key.
