Trump and another whopper of a lie. Trump continues to s**m his base as his legal problems continue to mount. His newest s**m was threatening to shut down the US Mexico border. Trump had no idea what the impact would be to this country if he did. But apparently the republicans in Congress informed him of the devastating effect it would have on the economy.

His reasoning was to stop Central American migrants who Trump blows way out of proportion are heading in droves to the US.

So today Trump took his foolish threat and lied to the American people again. He started bragging that suddenly Mexico had started to detain thousands of migrants along its southern border this week after his threats. Then Trump went on to say there really apprehending thousands of people (THEN HE SAID ITS THE FIRST TIME REALLY IN DECADES THAT THIS HAS TAKEN PLACE. AND TRUMP CONTINUED TO SAY IT SHOULD HAVE TAKEN PLACE A LONG TIME AGO.

Well Trump supporters these claims by Trump are not just false there (ABSURD) These comments by Trump compelled the Mexican Immigration authorities to put out a press release that Mexico has deported over 2.15 Guatemalans, Hondurans and Salvadorans since 2011. Also Mexican immigration authorities detained over 886,640 i******s since 2011. These are high numbers. But Trump needed a s**m to save face for his self inflicted problem so he lied and patted himself on the back for acting strong. First he creates a crisis then he lies to get out of it. Typical Trump s**m.

Then Trump claims Mexico has the strongest i*********n l*ws in the world. That’s another whopper of a lie. Mexico does impose penalties and they do deport unauthorized migrants, but it decriminalized the act in 2011. US misdemeanor for 1st time offenders and a felony for repeat offenders. He just continues to lie and his base just believes everything hi says.

Trumps shutdown of the border blew up in his face, he needed a way out of his self inflicted mess that he got himself into, by saying he will shut down the border if Mexico didn’t stop them just to play to his base.

Mexico is not doing anything different than what they were doing yesterday and Trump makes it sound like he fixed a non existent crisis. (THIS A CLASSIC TRUMP S**M)

Trumphad to fabricate something to maintain control of his base and once again Trump makes this country look like fools.

There are currently some 300,000 seeking asylum so it isn't totally blown out of proportion. The fallacy is that building a wall will do zero to keep people from seeking asylum. I don't know if Trump is able to grasp that but at least Big Mike seems to understand. It's rare that a conservative understands that a fallacy is indeed a fallacy so perhaps there is hope for them after all...

Someone should inform our President that application for asylum is NOT illegal: it is a long, compassionate tradition in this country to offer asylum to those whose countries do not supply a safe situation in which to live. Just because these people are of different ethnicity does NOT make them illegal felons as the president has many times stated; they are many times trying to escape the drug runners, MS15ers, rapists and thieves. It is an excuse to keep this country more monoethnic thereby keeping it more republican. It is sad that he thinks he has to obtain political dominance by any other way than winning the e******n through persuasion of the majority of the populace. Cutting aid to the three countries he is targeting will, if anything make the situation WORSE!

I find it very hard to see why all the anti Trump people think he lies, f**es immigration etc. My retirement accounts have more than doubled since Trump took over. My neighbors are now able to buy new trucks or tractors. A 50 year old elementary school is now being rebuilt. Roads and bridges every where are being rebuilt, expanded or refurbished. My Mexican neighbors, who were all Obama, love Trump. They especially like the growth in their small businesses. In 2 years, they have all learned English language. Something they had not done in the 10 years I know them. My utility bills have decreased. My sons family has been able to bank enough for their daughters education in 2 years. Something they were told would take 15 years to do. On and On I could go. But in 72 years in this country, I am able to do things I could never afford to do before. Low taxes. Big growth in manufacturing.

Big growth in small business. Huge wealth development in online retail. And, as long as we maintain and improve upon Donald Trump's policies, this stuff will not go away.

You democrats have gone to a train station that existed in some foreign land back in the 1930's.

And you appear to be waiting for the train that collapsed under "Atlas Shrugged- by Anne Rand socialists America (for the good of all) politicians"
