Brit newspapers tend to be like this article. However, those who write for them don't seem to realize that although they don't have a written constitution like we do sometimes when you do have a written one you have to live by it. Cohen, who wrote this article, is very heavily against guns for wh**ever reason.

The sad part of the article is that near its end we find that Republicans caused the gun control bill to fail, with no mention of the Democrats who v**ed with them and then goes on to whine about the attempts to throw out Obamacare. In other words we love socialized medicine and the stupid Americans just won't let it happen there.

Hell of an article, for leaners but not so good for people like me.

Knowing Brits like I do, I'll not bother to read the article. Sometimes it is just better to ignore them. Especially those who think that America is just temporarily separated from the Empire. I know many Brits who live outside of England who see just how dumbed down they have become. There is no shame to "going and staying on the dole". Remember, politically and practically, where non-Americans are concerned, it's mind over matter. We don't mind, because they just don't matter.

Unc, I know what you are saying about the Brits. I remember them being pretty much that way before they established socialized medicine and all the rest of socialism they put into effect. I am talking about mid-1957 the last time I was there. I got a kick out of going into bars and picking up girls who had dates with those slugs who put a beer in front of them and then went off to throw darts. The girls of that time liked those Colonials, as you refer to us, because we would buy them more than just one drink.
