The American people who support Trump are the ones behind letting Trump do what he's doing, and the ones pulling Trump's strings.
Trump is doing what he campaigned on in his brilliant platform to Make America Great Again. That's exactly what the American people want done. It's not an accident that America became the world's unquestioned superpower after being in existence for slightly over 200 years. In the history of the world, that's an astounding achievement! Before America, it took many centuries to achieve this milestone.
So how did that remarkable achievement happen?
In a nutshell, the Founding Fathers already came from the most advanced society on earth which was already Judeo Christian and based on the Magna Carta. The Magna Carta, in the 1200s, was the first crude attempt at democracy in that it limited the power of kings declaring that they too were subject to the law and that the king's subjects were entitled to due process. Which in itself was already a most advanced notion in the world at that time.
The Founding Fathers, starting with this baseline, decided to go all out with that notion and create an even more advanced society. They drafted a Constitution which gave each individual the maximum freedom possible consistent with an orderly society. A society based on a strictly limited government and maximum individual responsibility. That idea caught like wildfire and succeeded wildly.
Trump was smart enough to understand that what was needed to MAGA was to get back to our roots - and that's what resonated with America. Less government intrusion in our lives, less taxes, more freedom, and more of being true to the American culture which embodies these virtues.
I'll tell you who is pulling Trump's strings, and ... (show quote)

Any person not knowing the critical differences between good and evil, right and wrong, will gravitate towards choosing to become a Progressive.

Well, padermike, in this world of disinformation and omission what do you base your positions on? Do you have a crystal ball?

I've always found Padremike's contributions to be more grounded in fact than those coming from the left, which are usually grounded in "feelings" or in the latest brainstorm from some socialist or TDS propaganda rag.

A two-year coop attempt on Trump sounds dark, evil, and Satanic to me. But good, light, and God have let it turn to dust.

This country was working just fine until the left bought the Democratic Party. Everything we're seeing now, from "f**e news" to a resurgence in racial tension, anti-police rhetoric, identity politics, A****a, a potentially destructive socialist movement, etc comes from the Dems selling out to the far left who, with its g*******t partners, wants nothing more than to see America subdued because our capitalism-powered, military and economic dynamo and Constitutional republic stands in the way of their ambitions.

There is a YouTube video out there that contains an old interview with George Soros in which he says pretty much the same thing, that his eventual goal is to destroy the dollar so that our currency becomes a d**g on the economy of the developed world and makes us vulnerable.

Why so many people choose to ignore all the warning signs that are right in their faces is beyond me, the only two explanations I can think of being that the MSM has them totally clueless or they themselves are useful i***ts who either h**e everything America stands for or truly believe that the tragedy being sold by the far left, in all its sugar-coated glory, would be good for America.

My point is that there are a few million of us who love America that see what's going on and would not hesitate to do what's necessary to protect our country from elements of this enemy within.

Hi Vern,,

Donald Trump loves the working class as a mascot, but despises it as a class. The president will gladly take the side of the archetypal working man in his (largely imaginary) conflicts with environmentalists, welfare c***ts, immigrants, and liberal elites — but never that of actual working people in their material conflicts with their bosses. Trump has great affection for coal miners when they’re posing silently behind him, putting a populist face on his plans for inflating their employers’ profits, but feels nothing for them when they die in workplace accidents. He adores factory workers when they’re thanking him for saving their jobs, but h**es them when they inform reporters that he actually did not. And he adores union leaders when they ignore this dissonance (for the sake of short-term pragmatism), but h**es them when they don’t.

And on Sunday, Richard Trumka didn’t. In an interview with Fox News’ Chris Wallace, the AFL-CIO president said of Trump’s record, “Unfortunately, to date, the things that he has done to hurt workers outpace what he’s done to help workers.” The populist president — who had once promised to t***sform the GOP into a “workers’ party” — proceeded to spend his Labor Day berating the nation’s largest federation of unions for its ingratitude.

And yet, Trumka’s remarks were actually far too charitable.

Here’s a quick post–Labor Day reminder of 15 things the Trump administration has done to make the U.S. a worse place for ordinary workers.

1) Denied guaranteed overtime pay to 12.5 million workers, effectively t***sferring $1.2 billion from their paychecks to their bosses’ bank accounts.

2) Proposed a rule allowing companies with less than 250 workers to cease reporting workplace injuries and illness statistics to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) — and removed a list of Americans k**led in workplace accidents from OSHA’s home page.

3) Refused to ban a pesticide that’s been linked to birth defects in the children of farmworkers, in defiance of EPA scientists’ advice.

4) Asked the Supreme Court to uphold the right of employers to include forced arbitration clauses in contracts, thereby denying workers the capacity to press complaints against their bosses in open court.

5) Tried to throw millions of working-poor people off of Medicaid, then, once that failed, deliberately engineered a spike in health-insurance premiums, out of sheer spite.

6) Appointed one Supreme Court justice who had ruled that a trucker could be justly fired for abandoning his broken-down vehicle, instead of honoring his contractual obligation to freeze to death with his cargo, and nominated another who’d found that San Diego SeaWorld could not be held liable in the death of an employee who was k**led by a k**ler whale. (The former pick ended up producing a landmark decision that gutted funding for public-sector unions, in defiance of decades-old precedent.)

7) Repealed a rule that required retirement advisers to prioritize their clients’ financial interests over their own (thereby giving investment advisers permission to secretly gamble with aging workers’ savings).

8) Repealed a rule that had required companies to inspect mines for safety hazards (such as loose pieces of rock that might crumble and fall as they work) before workers began their shifts.

9) Proposed allowing hog-processing plants to run their lines at a speed greater than “1,100 hogs per hour,” a move that is all but certain to increase worker injuries.

10) Appointed two attorneys — who had made careers representing management in disputes with workers — to the National Labor Relations Board. Those appointees proceeded to overturn a series of pro-labor decisions, including ones that had buttressed workers’ rights to organize unions without their employers’ unlawful interference; guaranteed the right of unions to bargain over changes in employment conditions; and required parent companies to bargain with unions employed at their franchise locations (that ruling was subsequently thrown out on conflict-of-interest grounds).

11) Passed giant, regressive tax cuts that were written specifically to allow owners of capital to pay lower rates on their passive income than workers do on their hard-earned wages.

12) Canceled a scheduled pay “increase” for federal workers that would have merely allowed their existing salaries to keep pace with inflation.

13) Reduced oversight of abusive payday lenders and s**m colleges.

14) Proposed a rule that would allow restaurant owners to steal their workers’ tips, and hid a study showing that this could cost waiters and waitresses billions of dollars.

15) Restored the right of serial labor-law violators to compete for government contracts.

This is an odd record for a populist champion of the “forgotten man and woman” to amass, but it’s also precisely what you’d expect from a real-estate heir who routinely stiffed his company’s contractors, defrauded customers, fleeced small investors, and suggested, in public remarks, that the owners of capital are genetically superior to coal miners, who consign themselves to “black-lung disease” because they’re born too unimaginative to consider leaving “the damn mines.”

Well stated! ! ! When the A****a take up arms, they'll undoubtedly wear their signature black ski masks, making themselves clear targets for those who really do know how to hit a target. And they've already demonstrated they're not bright enough to take their masks off in order to blend in with regular society.

I think that second paragraph needs better clarification, because if you mean what I think you do, what do I, or any other white male here on OPP, have to do with any past sins? The average white male, hasn’t done any more sinning, than the average male of any other color. I fail to see your point.

Oops.
Continuing with what I was saying Seth, there's really nothing new with what the left is doing. Except that they're ratcheting up their destructive ways now that Trump has figuratively speaking, drawn a line in the sand. And forcing people to choose to Make America Great Again or seek to destroy the good that America represents.
Since Biblical times the left has always represented the forces of evil.
Examples:
Ecclesiastes 10:2, "A wise man’s heart directs him toward the right, but the foolish man’s heart directs him toward the left.”
Matthew 25:33 On the day of judgment, those who are condemned, go to the left of Christ and those who are saved are on his right.
Matthew 25:41, "and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left. Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels."
John 21:6, "And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right-hand side of the boat and you will find a catch.” So they cast, and then they were not able to haul it in because of the great number of fish."

While those on the left poo-pooh any reference to biblical prophecy, it doesn't change prophecy. So choose wisely, lefties. After all, your eternal salvation depends on your choice.

Trump's Presidency has accelerated the starkness of the choices we are presented with. That's why the left has piv**ed hard to the left. It's now all in for infanticide, all in for open borders to weaken the goodness of what America represents by importing i******s who have no stake in American culture, worshiping at the altar of "C*****e C****e", freebies for all including health care and college expenses, etc., etc.

The corrosive effects of the left have a long history in tearing down this the last best hope for mankind. After WWII America was at its zenith. Those corrosive effects of the left began with its successful attack on prayer in public schools in the Supreme Court, and then extended to removing God from the town square, and on and on until that abhorrent and decadent practice of sodomy or same sex marriage became the law of the land. Remember, God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah by raining brimstone and fire on them for the same sins. Obama celebrated it by bathing the WH in rainbow colors. Sick!

We can still become that shining city on the hill, a beacon for the entire world to emulate, but only if we remain true to our Judeo Christian heritage. It's so eloquently embodied in our Constitution. Free people freely expressing themselves, and becoming wealthy in the process simply by pleasing their neighbors. This is the best of capitalism, which has done more to raise the standard of living for more people worldwide than any other system devised by man.

Trump can Make America Great Again by continuing with his brilliant agenda. By the end of 2024 America should be well on our way back to our preeminence as the world's unquestioned superpower. And divine providence will once again look down on America and bestow more blessings on us for a job well done.

Nah... He will limp for his last 2 years. which is what I have wanted from the time i sat near the fire and gave it some thought..

I was worried that Mueller would present some high crime which would demand that he be impeached.

I am very disappointed with the indecisive report Muller presented..

Disgusted with trump AG presenting a 4 page summary and calling it a done deal.

But after all, he was hand picked for that task by the orange lump..

I have wired (can i call e mails that word?) reps to demand release of the entire 2000 pages or so of the report... then maybe we can see why Mueller said trump was not exonerated.

In any event, this will go one for the 2 years. so we who worry about our nation need to work hard and unrelenting to limit the damage mr orange con man can do..

1st task I think is changing the spending bill trump has sent to congress.. No.. must be several other things first up.. Hard to keep track of it all..

Hillary had complete authority and control DNC.

She paid for the dossier that we now know, without a doubt, was the key evidence for securing the FISA warrant.

Obama knew of the treachery and demanded to be kept in the loop.. this was revealed in a text by Lisa Page.

Remember all of the rhetoric toward the President about him not buying that Putin swayed the e******n and put him in the Oval office?

Now Brenner is trying to jump ship by saying that he was given flawed information.

The same supposed Intel where Brenner publicly declared that President Trump had committed treason.

There are so many people involved in the Plan that we cannot cover it all right here.

I know that you have great respect for Hillary, but if true justice prevails, her indignation toward investigators won't suffice this time.

She left a very public trail this time.
