As the Mueller report appears to have found no collusion between president Trump and the Russians many of us on the OPP are feeling vindicated...

Certainly there is cause for joy and celebration on both sides of the issue... After all, we can all rest easier for knowing that the leader of the free world wasn't/isn't colluding with our enemy...

And I join in the satisfaction of having my faith in president Trump verified... Though I ask forgiveness for not joining in on some of the more 'enthusiastic' threads.. ..

What lies ahead now?

How would the members of the OPP have the Republicans and Democrats respond to this news?

In the Senate and the House, what actions should follow the release of this report?

Do any on the OPP feel that this is a rare opportunity for healing?

Who should take the first step?
Extend the first olive branch?

There is no joy and celebration on the left.

While Trump supporters and right thinking people have reason to celebrate, the left will pivot to other reasons to put Trump in the crosshairs. It’s already started and there’s no hope for these people. For us standing in the light, we can become even more supportive of Trump who is already doing remarkable things for this country. Now that that albatross is off his neck, he’ll be able to focus even more on solving America’s problems.

Excellent analogy... 'water, water, everywhere, but not a drop to drink' does sound like the calls from many on the left...

My support for the man has not been affected... But I considered him innocent of the accusations from the beginning...(biased I know)... I hope he picks up speed...

Has the Mueller Probe been published? How do you know there was no collusion? The understanding has been the president cannot be indicted; perhaps that move is being left to Mr. Barr. Mueller handed out indictments to get testimony, not to charge with crimes. The many lies of those asked to appear, caused their criminal indictments. Mueller's job was to gather evidence into possible wrong-doing, not to prosecute wrong-doing. More indictments may be on their way.

It does not matter one little bit that there are no indictments from the Mueller report.. The left wing with their TDS are still out for blood and Trump and his supporters remain in their cross-hairs. I'll continue to be civil to those on the left, but I am a realist and know they will still rage against the 2016 e******n results.
Not one thing in that regard is changed.

The simple point is the Mueller Probe has not been published. No way to know if there will or will not be indictments in Barr's hands. If not, then let's move on.

I got the impression, and I suppose I could be wrong as it has happened occasionally, that you were aware enough to catch the fact that the celebrating is starting way early. There remains the important part of the report, not to mention the things that we know concerning an alarming amount of inappropriate involvements with Russia and Trump people.

Regardless of the initial report saying there wasn't anything tying Trump to his people involved with Russians, which may be no more than not enough to indict, but since many in the DOJ feels that a sitting president can't be indicted that means nothing.

Mueller's scope involved Russian interference in the e******n, and we know they did. So then while it might not be a crime, Trump went on for month after month denying that they had anything to do with the e******n, and actually obstructed efforts to determine what was done and how to keep it from happening again.

Then there is obstruction, and we've seen Trump do that openly and run a defense that it isn't obstruction if it's done in the open. I'm sure Mueller has a lot of testimony and evidence to add to that, and that can be a crime... remember it wasn't Mueller's job to charge Trump with anything, he turns the report over and the AG and congress decide how to proceed with the evidence. Even evidence that supports an indictment needs to be seen by congress so that they can impeach on those grounds.

Then there are the things we know that have been turned to other courts and jurisdictions for prosecution, including Cohen derived evidence. Look at the things in the Manafort indictment and the cooperation deal, there are things that prove he was covering for Trump that we don't know yet.

As to your statement that since there was no collusion between Trump and the Russians, many feel vindicated, but do you... knowing that this is actually just beginning now that the information Mueller has gathered is going to be put into gear?

Hi Woody...

Yes... As far as collusion with the Russians is concerned I do feel vindicated... I am glad that my perception of the man panned out...

I believe the report is rumored to state that there was no obstruction from POTUS Trump as well... If so, further vindication...

There is still plenty to argue about...
But I feel like this is a victory for my team

Just posting what I understand Rumi...
I believe if there were anything in that report that showed collusion we would have heard about it by now...

I kind of disagree, in that we knew it was one big lie from the beginning. One that Clinton bought. Am I glad it's over? One less thing to pay for unnecessarily. Opportunity for healing? You don't get the left, do you? Many RHINOs too. They aren't happy about this. Many times Trump has already extended an olive branch (DACA amnesty which I h**e but okay). How did they respond? Walked away to Soros.

Get if done and SHUT UP. THE PEOPLE again CITIZENS ONLY, want it done and if you can not or refuse to try, you should resign every last one of you period.

Wasted time and money. Now let's see just what the left is really trying to hide.
