The Forrestal tragedy started when a rocket on another plane on deck misfired, striking a plane near McCain who was in his cockpit awaiting takeoff. He had to get out quickly to save his life. He was in no way responsible.

Talk to most Vietnam Veterans. We believe he collaborated with the Vietnamize. You can still find a few of the short movies he made for them. He admitted that he had committed was crimes on behalf of the USA.
You can find one recording of him in a nice clean hospital bed telling us how well they have taken care of him, while his fellow prisoners rotted in filthy dirt covered cells starving. He is NO hero!!

As someone who was a naval aviator, myself, and who served aboard the USS MIDWAY during the Vietnam War, and who’s own Phanton ll was shot down by a SAM, yet was fortunate enough to have been the rescued, and who knows the circumstances surrounding the accident you’re blaming McCain for initiating, I’d say your post is full of crap.

Alabuck, your history and experiences as a Viet Nam combat pilot are of little consequence to those locked into their mindset of beliefs.
