Republican T*****rs Rushing V**e on Radical Gun Confiscation Bill!

Lindsey Graham has announced that the Senate Judiciary Committee WILL hold a full hearing and v**e on a radical new gun confiscation bill.

Graham and the GOP have been meeting with Democrats to see if they can come up with a "compromise" gun control bill.

You see, Democrats have plenty of ideas. They want to outlaw private sales and t***sfers of weapons, creating a nationwide federal registry of gun owners in the process (H.R. 8). They want to give the FBI the power to arbitrarily block gun sale background checks for weeks on end (H.R. 1112). Dianne Feinstein still wants to implement the largest gun ban ever, banning any semi-automatic rifle or shotgun that has a grip you can hold in your hand (S. 66).

And as if that wasn't bad enough, the Left is now pushing for mandatory background checks on all ammunition sales. Even if you went in to buy a single box of ammunition, you would have to pay for a background check that costs two-times the ammunition itself. This new tax on gun ownership was just introduced this week (Jamie's Law).

Republicans should be fighting against these unconstitutional gun control proposals. Instead, they are vowing to find 'common ground' and meet the left halfway.

Their "compromise" is Senate Bill 7, the Extreme Risk Protection Act and Violence Prevention Act.

Instead of fighting for your rights, the GOP is going to rubber stamp this radical gun confiscation bill!

Stop the Dems and GOP t*****rs from gutting the 2nd Amendment! Send your instant FaxBlast to Congress right now and FORCE them to k**l this new gun control package!

Americans have a right to be considered innocent until proven guilty. The presumption of innocence is the foundation of our justice system. If the government believes that you have committed a crime, they need to prove that beyond a reasonable doubt and convince a jury of your peers.

The same applies to civilian disarmament. If the Federal government believes you are too dangerous or deranged to own firearms, they have to prove it. Either by proving someone is a criminal or seeking a mental defection adjudication.

That is because Americans have a right to keep and bear arms. It is deliberately hard for the government to suspend rights.

But Senate Bill 7 would abolish those principles for gun owners, crafting a special exemption for state and local governments to disarm gun owners without having to jump through the same hoops.

As long as a friend, family member, or neighbor claims that a gun owner is dangerous, police would be able to petition a judge to have his or her guns confiscated. No evidence... no actual proof of a crime... the government wouldn't even need to accuse the gun owner of breaking the law. Basic hearsay would be enough to get a confiscation order.

Once a disarmament order was approved, police would raid the gun owner's home early in the morning and confiscate all of their guns and ammunition. It would then be up to the gun owner to prove they deserve their rights back.

Instead of being innocent until proven guilty, the gun owner is presumed guilty until they convince a judge they're innocent. And if they can't do that, then the confiscation order remains in effect for at least one year.

Liberal states around the country are trying to impose these radical gun confiscation bills. The Republicans want to accelerate this and impose a "red f**g" law on the entire country!

Lindsey Graham has already scheduled the hearing. In a little more than a week, Republicans plan to team up with Democrats to pass the most radical gun confiscation package ever envisioned.

We saw this week just how many Republicans are itching to v**e with the Democrats. 12 Senate Republicans and 13 GOPers in the House v**ed to block Pres. Trump's border wall project. There are at least twice as many Republicans eager pass this gun confiscation bill into law.

And President Trump... has promised to sign it if it reaches his desk.

Only YOU can put the fear back into the GOP and force them to stand down, but you must take action now before it's too late!

Stop the Dems and GOP t*****rs from gutting the 2nd Amendment! Send your instant FaxBlast to Congress right now and FORCE them to k**l this new gun control package!

We warned that this was going to happen. This confiscation bill isn't a Democrat creation... it is sponsored by Republicans.

Democrats want a total gun ban and nationwide registration and the GOP wants to "compromise" for passing a new firearm confiscation bill.

Now, they're using a mass shooting in New Zealand -- 7,000 miles away from the United States -- to justify rushing this bill through.

You CANNOT let this happen!

This bill is not "gutting the second amendment." It is putting a sensible limit on who and what kind of guns people can own. It addresses the problem of mass shootings every other week or so.
Read your constitution to see which government group has the power to spend money. It is not the president.

The criminals will then be sold the bad guns for a profit to exterminate us just like Obama’s guns for Mexico where our border agents were k**led! We need to have a big gun for the invasion of the politicos!

One of my uncle's told me 50 years ago that they won't be effective on gun confiscation, it'll be the ammunition that is infringed upon.

Punishing law abiding Americans for the act of the weirdos is unconstitutional, but domestic jihadists are only interested in subterfuge and s******n of the constitution.

Most of these s*******s cowards say that the constitution is outdated material or has not been interpreted for current events.

These same usurping limited information zealots say that the bible is outdated too.

Why did you call that a gun confiscation bill? It is nothing of the sort, it base is a background checks bill.

How is it that no one in power has introduced a legitimate bill to clean up the crime ridden neighborhoods?

Matter of fact, it's a known taboo subject on the left.

They're such cowards that they're scared of being called a r****t for acknowledging where the most violent criminality occurs.

I understand that fighting sensible bills is going to tilt them more and more not sensible. There is nothing wrong with background checks and keeping people with records and histories of violence from getting guns. Unhinged people do not have the right to buy and own firearms...

I know a lot of hard right wingers have domestic violence and anger management issues, which makes the point that these laws are needed. A person who has beat up a girlfriend or wife does not need to own a gun. A person who posts deranged things on the internet does not need or have a right to own a gun

To address high crime areas, you need to get rid of lack of jobs, lack of t***sportation to jobs most of which have moved to the suburbs and housing discrimination. Then there's funding for education being funneled off to charter schools or being dependant on property taxes. Then there's the fact that.poor people often can't pay bail so they sit in jail waiting for trial. I could go on.
I did not learn these things from msm. I spent 20 years in a high crime area of Chcago and tutored at Cook County Jail.
Good luck on solving all those problems.

These neighborhoods are no different than the Taliban or Al-Qaida run neighborhoods and cities.

Before peaceful education and jobs creation, the gang leaders need to be purged from the influence of enticement and bullying of the youths and productive citizens.

The National Guard is the only force to meet the challenge, the local police and ATF, DEA have had their time without any significant and lasting cure.

Most city gang units have everyone on file, and the FBI has a watch list of big players.

They need to turn all of their intelligence over to the Guard and help only when called upon.

There are dirty drug dealing cops in most big city forces too.

There are DEA who work for both sides too.

Recognizing the players is the first step toward real and positive change.

We spend billions on tending the problem, utilize those monies and the millions confiscated from the dealers to the good.

Some objections to this post: The National Guard is made up of people from all over the state. A good portion of downstate Illinois already h**es Chicago. Sending them in without training is asking for big trouble. I would prefer using an elite squad of Chicago police with bad cops filtered out.

Now consider this. You are a law-abiding citizen in this area. You either know personally or know someone who knows an unarmed person who has been shot by the police. So when the police approach you either defend yourself verbally or run away. The verbal defense may get sassy or downright vicious. Hold your weapons. You have a tazer, You have a vest. You have 3 teammates watching the situation with hands on the gun. You have 3 more at a distance in case the person runs. and you have training in de-escalation. No one shoots unless you actually see a weapon.

The situation changes when you are approaching gang members. Then you may need the whole SWAT team. They need more protection than just a vest. They need expedited warrants. Ask the people who do this what else they need. AND they need time away from the job. Gangs are like roaches; get rid of 10 and 20 more show up.

The same old tactics won't work, yes things are going to get rough, put a curfew and enforce it.

Like I said most gang members are already on a list, instead of making guns illegal, make gangs illegal.

I'm not for pussyfooting around, make it impossible to be the same old hood environment.

I lived in a so. cal s**thole neighborhood for a while, the gangs aren't a insurmountable problem.

There are many more gang members who have shot each other, opposed to police shooting people...way more!

Yes, we know that it would take some time to make these neighborhoods safe, but it can be done .

Think if we would have spent the time and resources in our own cities instead of out of country fighting a unending Muslim turmoil.
