Query: Is there a lower age limit for the presidency?

Constitutionally, no. (Nor Vice President)

If so, Then no one below that age should be allowed to v**e...

Agreed. The only issue that gives me pause is that it would require an amendment, but I can get over that.

V**er suppression alive and well in the Republican ideology I see.

Should we consider gerrymandering some more at the same time? It should guarantee a Republican victory if we do it just right.

Your thread is excellent and there have been some excellent opinions and ideas shared here... I hope the "change my mind" thread becomes a hallmark for you... Great idea...

No sweat my friend. As we’ve talked about it, it happens.

I borrowed the title. I want to say from “louder with Crowder” - but I’d have to double check. Thank you though. I meant to acknowledge your earlier “edit”, too... thanks.

Speculation, at best. I mean... unless of course you can correlate demonstrably how raising the age to 35 to v**e for Presidency/Vice Presidency, supports your assertion, then I’m all ears.

There are approximately 3.45 million Muslims living in America: what do you propose to do about that? Some feasible and Constitutional plan please? No ongoing useless rhetoric about how bad they are without a reasonable solution. Concentration Camps like for Japanese Americans during WWII? Ghettos? Declare their faith persona non grata by Congress and deport them en masse, even citizens that have been here for generations, going back to our beginnings as a nation.

(You may be surprised to learn that there may have been hundreds, perhaps thousands, of Muslims in the United States in 1776—imported as s***es from areas of Africa where Islam flourished. Although there is no evidence that the Founders were aware of the religious convictions of their bondsmen, it is clear that the Founding Fathers thought about the relationship of Islam to the new nation and were prepared to make a place for it in the republic.)

(Then we have this: "John Locke insisted that Muslims and all others who believed in God be tolerated in England. Campaigning for religious freedom in Virginia, Jefferson followed Locke, his idol, in demanding recognition of the religious rights of the "Mahamdan," the Jew and the "pagan." Supporting Jefferson was his old ally, Richard Henry Lee, who had made a motion in Congress on June 7, 1776, that the American colonies declare independence. "True freedom," Lee asserted, "embraces the Mahomitan and the Gentoo (Hindu) as well as the Christian religion.")

Okay, no terrorism then, no 9/11, yet the voice of freedom spoke for tolerance. What will speak for today?

Because most people know that the younger generations favor the left. I am sure you too know this and that is why you are suggesting such a change.

As for conflating, no, I said they claim to be Christians, they attend Christian churches, they claim they pray before meetings, have I stated that all Christians are w***e s*********ts, no, did I say that the KKK claim to be christian, yes.

As for your claim that I am claiming to be somehow victimized... Yeah, I don't recall EVER claiming to be a victim so that is rather an asinine allegation on your part.

Edit: As for that other thread I linked, you even replied to some of my posts there so you can't claim to not have noticed that I was in that thread AND defending Islam.

What lies?
I was not on that thread and had no knowledge of your posts there... (my moniker is Canuckus Deploracus... Are you confusing me with any of the other Canuckus's on the OPP)
My original statement stands..
Good for you for defending Islam from false accusations...

I also made the claim that I (personally) have never met a Christian who denied those events...

You have made numerous claims to being falsely and unfairly attacked by conservatives... While doing the same thing to any conservative who engages with you...
These are the attempts not claims that I refered to...

Well said, bahmer! Excellent points!

It seems like there should be a lower age limit... Democrat or Republican... Or any other party.. People are more capable at an older age... More mature...
