If being a "conservative" is the epitome of intelligence, why is it that they can't figure out that trickle down economics never works? Why is it they can't even figure out why it doesn't work? I figured out why it doesn't work long ago and I am not a "conservative", I am conservative, just not a "conservative", there is a difference.

I find very little true conservatism in the "conservative party", they lower taxes (typically primary focus being on the wealthy and business interests) while spending more, what is so conservative about that kind of practice? Does the "conservative party" believe in conservation in the form of natural resources? What does the "conservative party" truly believe in conserving? Many "conservatives" appear to be all for NOT conserving the 1st amendment, they seem to be for suppressing freedom of speech, we have seen some examples expressed here on OPP by right wing posters in some of their textual assaults on MSM and all too often, any poster that doesn't support their opinions. This thread right here is proof that "conservatives" aren't opposed to further "stepping all over the constitution" as the 26th amendment gives anyone over the age of 18 the right to v**e.

Yet we must remember, even though the "conservative party" "stomps all over amendments" they dislike they wish to conserve the constitution.

@moldyoldy regarding final post on page #3

Surely you lie, Christians would NEVER commit such a heinous act would they?

I have never heard a Christian deny these facts.... They do try to rise above them...

Moldyoldy's post made sense in context... Yours is just sad and bigoted...

You are quickly claiming the crown for least civil poster on the OPP... How do you expect anyone to take you seriously if you can't behave like an adult?

Excellent research, thank you, and that that sentiment has persisted for so long may mock both the young and old.

Wow! And you’re serious?

Your party just tried to allow non-citizens the right to v**e. Stomping on, then cheering for something, impressive.

Btw, we’ve stepped on it 27 times already.

I am all for raising minimum age to v**e to 21 PROVIDED we also raise the minimum age to enlist or be drafted (should the draft ever return) into the military be raised to 21 as well. In my opinion, if you are old enough to serve and potentially doe for our country, then you are old enough to both v**e AND drink. Why should we permit one to die for their country and to decide who should run our country if we don't think they are mature enough to decide whether they should or should not drink?

Why am I not surprised to see so many on the right wanting to raise the minimum age well beyond 21? Perhaps it is because the Republicans are well known in their v**er suppression tactics and gerrymandering, why would we be surprised that they would want to eliminate as many younger v**ers as they can? They will never refuse to stoop to any level to win at any cost, yet they piss and moan the most about the Democrats and the v***r f***d Republicans accuse them of.

Here we go again is right. You make a lot of assumptions for someone who claims again and again that they want t***h above all. And your opinion is no more important than any other.

The OP mentioned it was for electing the president and vice president only. It was a polite inquiry.

Query: Is there a lower age limit for the presidency?

If so, Then no one below that age should be allowed to v**e...

Ah, being held to a higher standard than oh so many on the right, gotta love the double standards.

You do know that the KKK claim to be a religious organization, right? I have also encountered many so called Christians that have tried to deny Christian involvement in those practices and/or downplay the Christian aspects of those practices.

I just call things as I see them, the same claim many far worse than myself on the right claim. Is pointing out facts and realities really bigoted? If people are so offended by the t***h, perhaps instead of being offended, perhaps they should work harder to prevent it from being the t***h in the first place. The flip side of course is that nobody can go back and change events of the past, what about changing the events of the present? Look at how many so called Christians go about trying to paint Islam in a bad light, creating anti-Islamic propaganda based on lies.

Of course we are straying from the original topic.

You have yet to answer the challenge for this thread... Simply spewed your anger at conservatives...

Do you seriously conflate the KKK with Christianity?
You may call things as you see them, but that does not nullify the opinions and views of others... Any time you encounter disagreement you turn to accusations of ignorance, bias and bigotry... Very open-minded of you (sarcasm)...

To my knowledge you have not once defended Islam on the OPP... Though you seem fine with taking shots at Christianity... You are no better than those you appear to revile... And your repeated attempts at victimhood have become tedious ...

Resorting to lies now? Try re-reading https://www.onepoliticalplaza.com/t-149884-1.html

As for conflating, no, I said they claim to be Christians, they attend Christian churches, they claim they pray before meetings, have I stated that all Christians are w***e s*********ts, no, did I say that the KKK claim to be christian, yes.

As for your claim that I am claiming to be somehow victimized... Yeah, I don't recall EVER claiming to be a victim so that is rather an asinine allegation on your part.

Edit: As for that other thread I linked, you even replied to some of my posts there so you can't claim to not have noticed that I was in that thread AND defending Islam.
