The BBC reported, “Mr. Trump battled unsuccessfully in the courts to halt the project before he became US president. A total of 11 turbines make up the development off Aberdeen. Judges have now ruled Trump International Golf Club Scotland Ltd should pay the legal bills incurred.”
David Frum pointed out, Trump was abusing the power of the presidency because he lost a private lawsuit:

But this sort of thing is avoided because Presidents put their holdings in a blind trust while they are in office so they can’t make policy for personal gain. Oh that’s right, the crooked self serving Pumpkinfuhrer didn’t do that and runs the country for personal profit like those tin pot dictators he so admires.
