Hi all... Airforceone actually posted a pretty good topic for discussion... Except it was full of derogatory remarks that would not promote discussion... So I cleaned it up in the hopes of seeing some civil discussion...
I give full credit to Airforceone for the research and ideas presented... And hope that he will join us in civil discourse on an excellent topic..

So let’s actually debate renewables on its own and leave c*****e c****e out of the subject and take a look at renewables from a health issue and what it would do for our economy.

Solar and wind power are creating jobs at a rate 12 times faster than that of the rest of the US economy.

The renewable energy sector has seen rapid rapid growth over recent years, driven by reduction in manufacturing and installation costs. Jobs are growing at a rate of 20% per year. There are 4.5 million jobs in renewables which is up from 3.4 million in 2011.

Now compared to f****l f**l technologies which are typically mechanized and capital intensive, the renewable energy industry is more labor intensive. More jobs are created for each unit of electricity generated from renewable sources than from f****l f**ls.

(IMPROVES PUBLIC HEALTH)
Air and water pollution emitted by coal, natural gas, fuel, is linked with breathing problems, neurological damage, heart attacks, cancer and a host of other serious problems. Estimated cost to the public health $74.6 billion a year.

(INEXHAUSTIBLE ENERGY)
We will not run out of strong winds, sunny skies and fast moving water.

(STABLE ENERGY PRICES)
Renewable energy is providing affordable electricity across the country right now and can help stabilize energy prices.

Although renewable facilities require an up front investment to build they operate at a low cost because the fuel is free.

Renewable energy technology cost have declined steadily. Example the average cost to install solar dropped more than 70% between 2010 and 2017, wind dropped 66%. Cost are expected to drop even further.

F****l f**l prices vary dramatically and are prone to substantial price swings. No price swings with renewables; the fuel is free.

The US now has 500 wind power manufacting facilities that support 50,000 jobs just in manufacturing and over 600,000 jobs total. Solar has a total of 347,000 jobs now and that has doubled in number since 2012 and now has over 10,000 companies that generate $17 billion to our economy.

As the industry continues its rapid growth the demand will accelerate for massive job creation.

According to a 2008 analysis by the Renewable Energy laboratory to power the US with solar is about 0.6% of the US land mass.

The Jobs analysis provided by AltEnergy stocks which found 5.3 jobs per $1 million for f****l f**l investments versus renewables 16.7 jobs per $1 million. If Americans would drop their love for f****l f**l and were all in on utilizing free fuel to generate electricity it would create an economic boom in this country like non other in our history.

Solar workforce in 2017 increased by 25% wind increased by 32%. How many jobs created in the coal industry versus renewables.

Just think about the health risk from breathing in this garbage and the water we drink, polluting our oceans, and forget about c*****e c****e.

It’s estimated that by 2050 most of the world will be powered by renewables.

Hope everyone can enjoy this topic and remain civil...

It seems you say we are doing more than our share now. Maybe you don't remember the 60's, Smog, acid rain and half our water ways unfit to swim and fish. We have come a long way since then. It was also estimated by Algore we should have all drown or grown gills by now. The t***h is until the last drop of oil is sucked from the ground we will stay oil dependent. That's how I realized George Bush was just another crook when he gave billions to the oil industry to experiment in hydrogen fuel stations when all it takes is a few volts and water to produce hydrogen. If you want to save the world try making your own fuel cell and run 3/4 of your car by hydrogen. It's not rocket science, it is easy and don't take an arm and leg to make.

Hydrogen has an octane rating of 200. The only thing coming out the exhaust is water. It can be produced as you drive and can be used along with gas. There was a guy named Myers who had a dune buggy that ran on 100% hydrogen but he was poisoned and his dune buggy dispirited. His twin brother put all that the rip offs left of his work on line. I have made a few of these fuel cells and used them on my truck. It will save you money and like I said it ain't rocket science.

The only thing is that non-renewables are heavily invested in our government and the propaganda machine continues to push that enviornmentalsts and renewable energy are evil and only the worst people in the world are in favor of it. The average worker is unsophisticated and kept in fear of their jobs. The f****l f**ls people love propaganda and despise education. Keep the people struggling and blame solar and wind for making them suffer. They'll eat it up .

Agreed... It is very true that China is heavily invested in renewable energy... Both research and production...

It is inevitable...

I'd like to see verification of some of those claims. I'm not against cleaning up our act - not at all. But there are always pie in the sky claims.

Like this pie in the sky claim -

"F****l f**l prices vary dramatically and are prone to substantial price swings. No price swings with renewables; the fuel is free. "

Nothing is free. Building the equipment for renewable mechanisms depends on oil for now. Solar and wind power aren't cheap. Try converting a house to solar power. There is no magic converting over and nothing will ever be free. As long as we are dependent on others to manufacture the equipment, there will always be price gouges and high prices. Why do people think a new industry will have any more integrity than the old? Human nature proves it won't.

I'm all for solar power. Wind energy is notoriously inefficient but getting better.

Some environmentalists ARE bad people. They could care less about third world countries who can't afford to convert to renewables. Its not cheap. Who are we to dictate to other countries what they can or cannot do? Some of them care more about the planet than their fellow man. That's not propaganda, that's t***h. Its easy to make decisions for others when you want for nothing.

This is another example of why we should get rid of lobbyists isn't it? Big oil is powerful. So is the environmental lobby. Chuck them both.

You'll have to ask Airforceone as to the claims.. His post originally...

I despise wind farms...
Used to be a beautiful scenic spot near where I live... Lake.. Temples.. Rolling hills...
Now all the hills are covered in windmills...
Plus they make a horrible noise if you live close to them...

Hydro, solar and geothermal....
Those are the ones we should be focusing on..

I agree with Airforceone on windmills. They are an eyesore and they are LOUD. I'd also like to see more hydro, solar and geotherman energy.
