Tucker Carlson is done listening to the left’s favorite Democratic-socialist, 29-year-old Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). On his show Tuesday night, Carlson blasted the freshman Congresswoman for being “dumb and totally ignorant” and yet, somehow, extremely confident at the same time.

In a short segment, the Fox host played a montage of some of AOC’s most hare-brained statements since she entered the political spotlight in June.

Loved by the media and mocked by conservatives, Ocasio-Cortez has won plenty of fans with her upbeat personality and youthful image, but she has become a figure of fun to the right for her extreme and thinly detailed ideas to fix society’s woes, often couched in garbled rhetoric.

“In her brief time in the political limelight on what, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has said a lot of interesting stuff, here’s one thing she said,” Carlson started off.

Carlson played some of AOC’s greatest hits, including the time she said that being “morally right” is more important than being factually correct and the time she compared c*****e c****e to World War II.

“An agency like ICE, which repeatedly and systematically violates human rights does not deserve a dime,” she said. “The world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address c*****e c****e. This is our World War II,” she said in another short clip. “I think there are a lot of people more concerned about being precisely factually, and semantically correct, then about being morally right.”

Carlson wondered aloud how someone so “dumb” could be so confident and suggested that the education system might be to blame. “So not only dumb and totally ignorant of everything, but utterly self-assured. If there were a clinical exam for self-esteem, she would be in the 100th percentile,” Carlson added. “How do people get like that? Is it our education system? Is it high school? Is it colleges?”

I've read comments about Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez calling her ignorant, stupid and an i***t. I have heard celebrities and others ask her to sit down and shut up and "learn the game".
The problem is that she doesn't want to "learn the game" and that's why she was elected. Her constituents are tired of "the game". They are tired of the status quo. They are tired of business as usual and they wanted someone who was going to hit the ground running and try to make things happen instead of playing footsie on compromising.
As far as her intellect is concerned, this so-called "i***t" won second prize in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair with a microbiology research project on the effect of antioxidants on the lifespan of the nematode C. elegans. In a show of appreciation for her efforts, the International Astronomical Union named a small asteroid after her: 23238 Ocasio-Cortez. In high school, she took part in the National Hispanic Institute's Lorenzo de Zavala (LDZ) Youth Legislative Session. She later became the LDZ Secretary of State while she attended Boston University. Ocasio-Cortez had a John F. Lopez Fellowship. During college, she served as an intern in the immigration office during the final year of U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy's tenure.
She graduated cum laude from Boston University's College of Arts and Sciences in 2011, majoring in international relations and economics.
Paul Ryan was hailed a genius when he was elected to Congress at the same age, yet he has a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and was hardly distinguished as a student.
And the Orange Man in the Oval Office was a mediocre student, a draft dodger, and a man with several failed business ventures and the inability to complete sentences or spell simple words. Who's the i***t?
Is it because she is a woman? Is it because she is Latinx? Is it because she is Bronx strong?

This is laughable. There's no objective evidence at all that AOC is "dumb". Unlike the current occupant of The White House, who struggles to make a coherent sentence.
