Breaking: Official Arrests Made in Jussie Smollett Case

Jussie Smollett, as you may recall, was allegedly attacked several weeks ago in Chicago, supposedly by two white men who threw a chemical on him, put a noose around his neck and told him, among other racial and h********c slurs, “This is MAGA country.” The incident came shortly after a threatening letter with white powder inside and “MAGA” as the return address was allegedly sent to the “Empire” set. After that incident, Smollett refused extra security.

The veracity of the story has been in question as more details have emerged, however. In spite of the fact that the attack occurred in one of the most heavily surveilled areas of Chicago, no video exists of the attack.

Smollett claims that he was on the phone with his manager when the attack occurred, but neither he nor his manager were willing to turn over their phone or records of their calls. When the actor turned over records two weeks after the attack, they were heavily redacted and in a document format that could be easily manipulated.

The “Empire” star didn’t call police from the scene and asked them to turn off their body cameras when they arrived. Also, the Subway sandwich he was getting at the time of the alleged assault remained perfectly intact.

Now comes news that Chicago Police have carried out a raid and arrested two “persons of interest” and potential suspects in the alleged attack — and the reason why they happen to be of interest isn’t good for Smollett’s case.
According to WBBM-TV, the Wednesday raid was aimed at two brothers of Nigerian descent who know Smollett and at least one of them appeared on “Empire” as an extra.

I read that the Nigerian brothers have been released, and they admitted that they and Smollett staged the entire thing. The Chicago Police Dept. is now considering charges against Smollett, if the new information is true. From the beginning this whole thing smelled. But of course the abusively biased, agenda driven, (removing President Trump from office,) immediately presented it as fact, without checking further or waiting for proof, as they have done in story after story in their efforts to stoke hatred towards President AND those who v**ed for, and support him. On a daily basis Americans are seeing the true face of the left, (Democrats, academia, Hollywood, and the laughably called mainstream media,) which is nothing but h**e filled vitriol, deceit, and outright lies. You are right. We still don't know all the details, but if there is enough evidence to bring charges for a h**e crime it should be done. A precedent needs to be set so it doesn't happen again because this is the kind of thing that can cause protests that turn into r**ts before the t***h is out.

If he did in fact set this up, then at the very least he should be charged with filing a false police report and severely fined, given all the man-hours spent by law enforcement in trying to track down nonexistent Trump supporters in his claim. I find it difficult to believe this man was so stupid as to think his f**e attack plot wouldn't be revealed for what it is. It would seem his pathetic need to gain attention and to vilify Trump supporters overcame what little common sense the man has.
