So the question begged is where is the national emergency?

I just wonder if it has ever occurred to you conservatives that this emergency Trump has terrified you with is simply something that he has completely made up. You see Trump knows your shared distaste for those little brown people affectionately known as Hispanics and he used them to terrify you with in order to get you to v**e for him. There is no national emergency and there never was so you can crawl out from under your beds--this means you Pennylynn--because El Whappo and MS-13 aren't gunning to get you.

So whether you like it or not your biggest threat remains us liberals and that truckload of Mexicans who mow your yards and clean your houses aren't a threat to you--unless you don't pay them--then you are taking your life in your own hands...good luck with that...

As I said, border crossings are at a near record low so just what is the emergency? All he has is his fear campaign and we are supposed to shell out billions of dollars based on that!!! Not today!!!

I have no problem "vetting" people as they come across but I have a huge problem wasting billions of dollars to stop an imaginary problem Trump made up in order to scare people into v****g for him! First of all, it was thanks to President Trump, that during his first year in Office, there was a 46 year low in border crossings. They actually termed it the "Trump Effect". But then, when Congress refused to take the issue head on, like they should have, in March of last year (2018), the crossings rose 203% over the previous March (2017). If you're going to cite stats, cite them correctly. Next...President Trump has NOT vilified all Hispanics, that is the Liberal lie that you are trying to put out there. In 2018 57,820 I*****l A***ns were in DOJ custody/convicted on an array of crimes, including 30,000 sexual crimes, 43,000 drug crimes and the estimate of American's deaths due to drunken I*****l A***ns is 13 EVERY DAY. That's 4,745 DEAD Americans a damn year. And every one of those crimes COULD have been prevented, if the I*****L A***NS were not here. President Trump has said what WE THE PEOPLE have been saying...come to America the RIGHT way the LEGAL way. Come here to be hard-working, law-abiding AMERICANS, like the rest of us. But DON'T try to invade our Country, waving the F**g of the country you're supposedly "fleeing". If you're coming to America to make a better life, then you should assimilate, not try to turn America into the very place you're "fleeing" from. And I've been in the hotel business for over 20 years and not one time has anyone at any hotel I've worked at, been an i*****l a***n. I've worked with and know many LEGAL Immigrants, from all over the World. They worked hard to become United States Citizens and are proud as hell to be Americans. And THEY are just as upset and bothered by all the I******s coming here. That 20 million is the best estimate of just Mexican i******s. But we have hundreds of thousands of i******s here under the TPS program. We have hundreds of thousands from CA and Africa, and more waiting in Mexico and more on the way. We have hundreds of thousands of VISA overstays from everywhere. We have millions of foreigners here legally that never become US citizens but take full advantage of all our country has to offer such as free education, free medical care, and free anchor baby citizens.

Frankly, since you are a Canadian, I should imagine that you are rather disturbed by the reports that as a member of NATO, Canada will struggle mightily to do their part to defend not only your country, but the USA, should the need arise--since Canada's fighter jets are 35 years old.

I can only surmise that Canada is spending far too much money putting i*****l i*******ts up in hotels to honor their NATO agreements. Please don't take this as a personal attack, it is not meant as such. I have little doubt but what, many of the intelligent citizenry of Canada just shake their heads at the choices that their Prime Minister makes. To not invest in fighter jets that are newer than 35 years old truly is playing Russian Roulette--particularly since both Russia and China are investing in new and shiny weapons of war. I guess you folks are in the same sorry mess, as we are with all the t*****rous politicians sitting in the House of Representatives, here in the USA.

1)You asked if I thought it a bad thing if we vet people who cross the border. I don't. We do that with those who seek asylum and the rest are the ones who got away. As for slowing down the stream--crossings are at a 46 year low so it seems the stream has been slowed significantly.

2)As for being r****t...we aren't chasing down Canadians who are illegal. The reason for the wall is fear. What is to fear aside from the race of the people coming over? We don't fear Canadians. We don't fear Europeans or English or any other so long as they are white. Remember that Trump's campaign promise was a 30-foot concrete wall running the entire length of our southern border. That we have an equal problem with Canadians who are illegal didn't even cross his mind or the minds of those who were demanding that the wall be built. Oh I can think of other reasons to build a wall but the reason Trump and his base want a wall is purely r****t and nothing else.

3) According to Pew Research, there are 10.7 million i*****l a***ns in this country not the 20 million you cite and even if there were 20 million I don't see what it is to you? If you Canadians don't want i*****l a***ns in your country than simply don't hire them and they will leave.

Since you know America so well how many businesses were busted for hiring those 20 million i******s that you think are in our country? I'll bet you a dollar against a nickel that the number is less than a hundred. The only reason that i******s come to our countries is for work. If we don't give it to them then they will leave.

I don't know why you conservatives can't understand that but they come here to work and our respective governments let them. Because of that, a wall is pointless as they will either climb over it or tunnel under it but it there are no jobs where they are then they will find a way to go where they can work.
