Deep Purple Fans? Lazy - Jimmy Barnes & Joe Bonamassa

This is a pretty good cover.

Brad Whitford of Aerosmith has a side gig I guess. Anton Fig plays for the Tonight Show. Arlan Schierbaum favors his antique Hammond. Never heard of Jimmy Barnes so I looked him up...this guy is unbelievably busy! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Barnes. Michael Rhodes is a session player for a lot of country music artists.

Then, of course, there's Joe. Salute!

Lead Guitar: Joe Bonamassa
Lead Vocals: Jimmy Barnes
Keyboards: Arlan Schierbaum
Rhythm Guitar: Brad Whitford
Bass Guitar: Michael Rhodes
Drums: Anton Fig

Right on Big Mike, Ive watched that before, but enjoyed it just as much this time.

If that doesn't get a person rockin call the undertaker.

Bonamassa is one of my favorites.

Like you, I wasn't familiar with Jimmy Barnes, and them fingers ain't lazy.

Bonamassa is one of my wife and my favorites as well, we've watched a few of his live concerts and have several CD's...I had to listen to this with John Hiatt...Bonamasso rips into an epic guitar section

It's the first and only one I've ever listened to. The point of the post was the great cover. Never cared for Deep Purple's studio stuff. It lacked the ENERGY of their live performances.

Barnes has got pipes! And he's an old Scottish-Aussie!

I wonder what he was doing when Bon Scott bought the farm...

I like that vid. It's one on my playlist...and I have a couple of his concerts on bluray too.

Found Joe by accident while YouTube surfing. This was the first of his work I heard. The Flying Vee caught my attention.
