Hosea chapter 9
Verse 1 - 3
We shouldn’t look forward to the future with the way we are preparing for it. We are killing our children, voting foreigners into our government, (who disrespect our president), allow foolish ideas like gender can be chosen, and man can control the weather to be taught to our children. None of these things will produce positive results. We have learned the wrong lessons from our prosperity. Man makes money, money doesn’t make man. Those who don’t learn from history are condemned to repeat it. Venezuela should teach us, government can destroy a nation. Socialism has a 0% success rate…
Verse 4 and 5
Instead of going to church looking for joy and expecting everyone to agree with us, we should know satan has deceived the whole world. Some should disagree. Especially when what you’ve read in the bible disagrees with the nonsense people have accepted as truth from false prophets. We should go to church crying and apologizing to God for the murder of 70 million infants before they could take their first breath, and allowing the government to legalize same sex marriage.
Verse 6 - 9
What happened in Gibeah is found in the 19th chapter of Judges. Gibeah had allowed militant perverts to roam the streets. In this country I have seen a man wearing a wig and a dress, allowed to read stories to children in public school/ Gender cannot be chosen. We are at the crossroads. We will either choose to succeed or fail. Actions have consequences/ We can choose our actions, but not the consequences of our actions. We should make decisions with the future in mind.
Verse 10
As long as the children of Jacob were led by a man who followed God, the nation did God’s will. Read the first chapter of Judges. After Joshua died, Israel went astray
Verse 11 - 13
Ephraim resided in the northern kingdom of Israel. They eventually became the nation of Great Britain. Now we just call it Britain. Their glory flew away like a bird.
Verse 14 - 17
Idolatry made a smooth transition into religion. They are similar. In idolatry, instead of obeying God by doing what God said, man made idols were made and given credit for what God did. In churches, God is worshipped while His word ignored, except for a few verses in Psalms and some Pauline epistles mistaught. Religion is trying to earn salvation by following a set of rules. Christianity is not a religion. It’s a reality. You read the word of God, let the holy spirit speak to your heart, and govern your actions accordingly. If you need help, pray to God. He will straighten your mind out, and give you the information you need.
