LOS ANGELES — A federal appeals court ruled that the Trump administration did not exceed its powers by waiving environmental rules to speed up construction of prototypes and replacement of the U.S.-Mexico border wall.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday rejected arguments by the state of California and environmental groups who tried to block work that has mostly been completed near San Diego and Calexico.

The right ruling just unexpected from the 9th Circuit.. I suspect they knew it would get appealed to the SCOTUS and have to stand yet another seething admonishment by the SC...

Of course it can still wind up going up but has little validity in getting there too..

I'm wondering if the 9th circuit has either received a couple of non legislative Judges by means of President Trump or they see the writing on the walls that they might be end up being abolished. Remember, President Trump had talked about this very thing some time ago.

Two of the judges currently on the 9th are Trump appointees, that could have made a difference, though it's got more Clinton appointees.

The 9th Circus was the court that tried either, I forget which, to take "In G-d We Trust" off our currency or ruled to take "under G-d" out of the Pledge of Allegiance.
