Nice State.
Loved Nashville. Traveled through many times on trips from Ohio to Florida.

Gotta go a little further south to find me. I live in Chattanooga...Choo Choo City...Gig City...Little Chicago. We have a song...The Chattanooga Choo Choo by Glen Miller.
The blue buildings used to be Combustion Engineering and these 2 bays were where nuclear reactors and steam generators were built.
The dilapidated building was a foundry, U.S. Pipe, and is so toxic that no one wants to buy or develop it.
The last one is looking south at Lookout Mountain, named after the Confederate occupation during the War Between the States.

Your town looks like the place I grew up in...

Beautiful... Just beautiful...

I'm guessing a pretty good community?
Lots of folk who know each other... Even if only by last name...

Are those the only endeavors that matter...the ones to his base? It surely appears that way.

It's nice to see someone keeping campaign promises....

Elected for these reasons.. Should he not fight for them?

How else should democracy work?

I Like to think the "Leader" is talking to "All" the people, not only his base. It's not about the party. If the intention and priority is for the best intention for all of its people, I believe we'd be on the right path.

We still haven't resolved healthcare, he's given another tax break to the elite while he dismantles the ACA without a replacement. He digs us further into debt, while our infrastructure is crumbling. His focus on the wall takes our eyes off other more serious priorities. We are still not there yet economically speaking, not when we could see how many government employees needed help, and they are doing much better than many other citizens. That's the reality.

Is Chattanooga near Oakridge?
I worked on a Nuclear project that had to do with Oakridge.
I was in California. Never been there.

Tell congress to start working together...

Your debt has been growing for how long?

Economically speaking.. No.. You're not there yet... When will you be?

Infrastructure should be a priority... So far neither party has pushed it except as a talking point..

He won his office on certain promises and platforms... If one disagrees with these platforms one should v**e against them (actually I h**e people who v**e against a candidate rather than for a platform...)

Should he ignore the people who put him in office?

Is there a chance that someone can explain something about the English language. Let me explain some of it to you. Our President is known as the Commander in Chief of the military services and not the commander and chief. You need to try to understand things like this so you can talk t***h.

Oakridge is northeast of Chattanooga and west of Knoxville by 20 to 25 miles. We are on the southern border with Georgia and Alabama. We're called the tri-state area.
