Surrender? Ha! Perhaps we now begin to understand who you are. Obviously St. Paul offends you for a reason. You get up for a drink of water but return to bed while those of us in the east are getting started writing comments for the day. You have a tennis date when it's dark for us. Is it a stretch to believe you live on the left coast perhaps even in "tolerant" San Francisco which you earlier defended?

LOL...Surrender was meant as a joke...

To lighten the tension between us...

My mistake I assure you...

I reside in northern China...
What was once known as Manchuria...
I am twelve to fourteen hours ahead of you...
Now it is 6:50 p.m. and I am preparing for a second tennis match at eight...
You can ask around...
This is common knowledge with those who I regularly correspond with.... (Archie, Slatten, LindaJoy, BadBob, Morgan, Sici, Pennylynn, Coos Bay Tom, Debeda, ProudRepublican.... Quite a few are aware of where I reside... I think even Byronglimish is aware of this... )

I don't believe that I ever defended San Francisco... Although I am sure that there are many wonderful people there who are worth defending...
As for tolerant... Is tolerance not considered a virtue?

And Paul does not offend me...
I simply don't credit his works as equal with those of the Apostles and Christ...

Sorry if there was any confusion with how I have worded things...
I do have a tendency to phrase things oddly...
I would blame it on being Canadian, but that would be a lie...
Even in my home country people find my way of speaking odd...

Sorry again about the surrender thing....
I truly did mean it as a joke...

Hope you are having a Good morning and feeling well...

God bless...

I promise you did not offend me. China huh. I envy your access to good Chinese food. We live north of Panama City Florida and everyone of our Chinese restaurants was destroyed during hurricane Michael this past October along with 80% of all businesses And, of course, when you cannot get Chinese food you crave it. The best Chineese food we ever found stateside was along the Union Pacific Railroad towns in Southern Wyoming. They were owned and operated by descendants of the Chinese laborers who worked on building the original railroad line. We Lived several decades in Wyoming. Do not miss the cold in my old age. However, my dear wife of 56 years runs the AC anytime it gets over 60°. The dog and I both have full time lap blankets. My brother, who also lived in Wyoming, says the coldest he has ever been was in my home in Florida in July. I concur!

OK, were good.

Glad to hear we are good...
I would hate to have division with anyone...

The food here is great...
My waistline can attest to that....

I am also a lover of the AC...
In the summer it's the only thing that keeps me going...

Hope you are well...

The Apostles reported and recorded the words and life of Jesus...

Paul did not...

There is a reason to separate the Gospels from the rest of the New Testament...

And I will kindly ask you to refrain from ad hominem attacks... They are distasteful in a discussion on faith... My gratitude in advance..

I agree with padre on this one - you are wrong about Paul. He was instructed by the Holy Spirit. As such his letters are of no less importance in the New Testament. If they were then there'd have been no need for his encounter with Christ on the road to Damascus. He was as much God's instrument in proclaiming Christ as Savior as the other apostles.

You can't be a casual reader of the bible and glean its depth and many lessons. The bible is not like other religious books.

No it isn't. I depend on its inspiration to get over the rough spots in life. I have more than my share but God has through his word got me through them all.

With God you have everything, without God you have no hope.

You are absolutely 100% correct! If they want to call my life privileged, please, step into my shoes. It's just another whiney ass attempt to degrade our existence due to their own actions. Character! Character! Character!

I would have laughed my self silly to see Michael, dressed like that, but perhaps his surgery to insert the fake breasts would have been too obvious

OK. I will explain it.
Melania gets no national condemnation for this image, largely because she is a privileged white woman.

Had Michele Obama (or any other woman of color who rose to national prominence) posed in such a way she would have probably been universally damned.

Not if she looked like that.
