A picture is worth a thousand words, indeed.

OK. I will explain it.
Melania gets no national condemnation for this image, largely because she is a privileged white woman.
Had Michele Obama (or any other woman of color who rose to national prominence) posed in such a way she would have probably been universally damned.

But the photo is from before she was the First Lady...
And many people 'damn' her...
For all sorts of nonsense...
What coat or shoes she wears...
How she speaks...
How she decorates...
Why she married Trump...
Her being an immigrant...and her family...
Her earlier lifestyle...
Personally I think the dress in the picture is too revealing... But that is her decision...
Thanks for responding to me...
I was starting to think that I had offended you in some way...
I have read some of your old responses to posts before I was a member... You seem very knowledgable and well-spoken...
Hope all is well with you..

It is not my place to condim ot judge a person for what they wear. Only for what the do now in the present.

Michelle? I would have thrown up seeing Michael Obama dressed like that.

How can a woman expect a man to respect her when she dosen't respect herself and dress modestly?

And Paul certainly does not want to get into a moral stone throwing contest.

Who Donald Trump married is his business.

I often feel this way as well...
I love the sight of a woman in a dress or gown...
I am not impressed when they 'leave nothing to the imagination'...
Just old-fashioned that way...

Paul doesn't strike me as being immoral...
Or a stone thrower...

Yes...
POTUS 44's wife was more modest in her choice of wardrobe...
But Melania and her came from different backgrounds and had different careers...
Both are elegant in their own way...

The old fashion way is usually best in these type things. A wife should be modest in public but in the privace of her and her husband's bedroom she can "let her hair down" or as some would say "Let it all hang out."
😏😁😎

That's not white privilege you are talking about but bias and racism of the most obvious kind.
