Heck yeah I fart! My horse farts, my dogs fart, and my wife........well, she only 'fluffs'.

I wonder...what, exactly are we gonna do about all of the flatulence generated by wildlife?
I mean, do manatees, Ridley Turtles, and Spotted Owls fart?

yes but Manatee farts are buffered underwater. Ridley turtles fart so slowly nobody would notice. And spotted owls have spotted farts. On the other hand my farts are enough to make a cow blush.

If you were going to power a car with Marine farts you may as well sign up for NASCAR. They probably will not let you drive on the streets. Semper Fi

Maybe if ocrazio cortex would be willing to provide oral resuscitation 2 distressed bovines she could recycle those gases into a typical socialist public service announcement.

I did play cowboy quite a bit, back in the day. That was before I became a broken down, lazy old man.
Or, maybe that's what caused me to be a broken down, lazy old man before my time...

I found one, too, Arch http://www.answers.com/Q/How_much_do_cows_fart

Excerpt: Why do cows fart so much?

Cows are ruminant animals, that is, they have four compartments in their stomach. When they eat grass, bacteria in the first compartment, the rumen, softens it. The cow can then bring it all back up into its mouth and chew it again (chewing the cud). Because the process of food breakdown is anaerobic (without air) it produces methane, a powerful greenhouse gas. This is mostly belched, but partly farted.

Agricultural scientists are experimenting with different food additives to try to lessen the amount of methane emissions.

There are more than 150 different species of ruminants in all continents except Australia and Antarctica.

I believe we have both fulfilled Hug's request.
Calves often fart audibly when hit with a branding iron.

Who is Hug, anyway?

I guess our qualifications as fumologists had to be proven to non-believers, huh, Arch

Maybe Hug's a newbie in need of some. We'll assign him to Wolf Counselor, or our old friend, Loki.
