Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has staked her reputation on convincing Americans that the unsecured U.S.-Mexico border really isn’t a big deal — because she can’t afford to give in on President Donald Trump’s wall. But her narrative crumbled as graphic footage of a violent murder went v***l on Sunday.
As subway riders watched in horror, an MS-13 gang member shot and k**led another man on a train platform in Queens, New York on Sunday. Passengers at the 90th Street-Elmhurst Avenue station fled in terror as the brazen violence unfolded in broad daylight.
New York police said they arrested Salvadorean national and MS-13 gang member Ramiro Gutierrez for the k*****g on Monday.
Subway shooting
The violent altercation took place on the 7 train subway platform around 12:45 p.m. The horrific attack was captured in a cellphone video that went v***l.
The video shows the victim struggling to break free of two men attacking him on the platform outside a Manhattan-bound 7 train. According to a witness who recorded the incident, the victim was fighting his attackers for control of a gun. The struggle had begun on the train before spilling out onto the subway platform.
At least two Good Samaritans try to intervene and stop the attack as a bystander screams, “Leave him alone! Leave him alone!” Then one of the attackers, who can be seen wearing a scarf and gray hoodie, gets up from the ground and brandishes a revolver.
The victim then gets up and appears to lunge at the man with the gun before the gunman fires six shots, sending bystanders scattering in terror and causing the victim to fall to the ground. The victim died from numerous shots to the head, according to the police, as his attackers ran away. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man with a guitar on the platform can be heard reacting to the k*****g in horror, “Oh my God! Oh my God!”
MS-13 member arrested
New York police detectives identified the k**ler and the victim as members of rival Central American gangs in Queens. The victim, 20-year-old Abel Mosso, was a member of the 18th Street gang.
On Monday, Gutierrez, a 26-year-old MS-13 gang member was arrested and charged with murder, gang assault and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. Gutierrez was previously charged along with other MS-13 members in December for numerous violent offenses including conspiracy, attempted murder, drug and weapons charges over a burglary plot that was foiled by NYPD, ICE, and the Queens DA’s office.
Gutierrez was out on $2,500 bail at the time of the k*****g and he was also arrested in May for stolen property charges. ICE confirmed that he is an i*****l a***n from El Salvador. Police are still looking for two other men who were seen fleeing from the murder.
Liberals downplay crime
Democrats have argued that the border crisis is “manufactured.” Liberal papers like the New York Times and Washington Post immediately downplayed the incident, pointing to the long history of the rival gangs in New York to argue that the incident was nothing new.
Sunday’s incident was a frightening example of i*****l a***n gang warfare playing out in broad daylight on public t***sit. President Donald Trump made note of the incident in his State of the Union Address on Tuesday night while discussing criminal i*****l a***ns and the threat they pose to the country.
“Just yesterday, an MS-13 gang member was taken into custody for a fatal shooting on a subway platform in New York City. We are removing these gang members by the thousands. But until we secure our border, they’re going to keep streaming right back in,” Trump said.

Exactly. This kind of fear-mongering is Trump at his best. Who knows how these individuals arrived?

If he had been arrested earlier and he is an illegal why wasn't he deported then? This happens all the time. Fear-mongering. Tell that to the one's who have lost loved ones because of i******s that should have been deported and weren't thanks to progressive liberals!

Maybe they were, who knows? They could have arrived at legal ports of entry.
Apparently Donald Trump had no problem with i******s working at his properties before becoming President, as many were employed at Mar-A-Lago and his other properties for years, sometimes decades! Don't tell me the managers didn't know!
As an aside, I worked in Southern Callifornia for a prominent citrus and other agricultural owner/manager in my younger days; the issue of documentation never came up for the workers, only that there were enough hands when needed. I daresay the same is true for the vast majority of the Central and Imperial Valleys.
