Welcome back, r****d. Not that anyone missed you, but with you gone, the conversation became almost adult like, and we can get that anywhere.

Welcome back Retired. While you were at the lake, did you happen to see the GOP dredging it for the remains of Judge Crater or Amelia Earhart? They seem to have a knack for glomming on to over-exposed unsolved mysteries that no one cares about any more. I'm expecting any day now for them to link the Democrats to the St. Valentine's Day massacre... Reminds me of all the clergymen who are oblivious to the eye-rolls and snoring of their tuned-out audience.

Yep, they claim that there are 10 to 30 million "patriots" who will be descending on DC this weekend. And of course, they refuse to apply for and get permits.

I didn't realize that i***t is spelled like patriot according to i***ts who believe the crazy colonel.

The fools at faux have not promised around the clock coverage, neither has fat limburg or the other i***ts of the rightwingnut media.

Wonder why?

How do you know about Fox News since you never watch them? Oh yeah, you read Kos and MM and they tell you the things Fox is saying.

I don't watch the news very often at the camp. Too many other things to do than sit in front of the TV. The tea bagging i***ts have forgotten how the GOP got all the goobers to buy guns and donate to their causes claiming Obama was going to take your guns away. I wonder how much the GOP hauled in on that propaganda and how much extra the gun manufactures made on the stupidity of those who couldn't seem to buy guns and ammo fast enough?

Even faux dummies should know that the fools have a webpage as well as their stupid tv show.

They tell the same lies, but there are no stupid talking heads or i***tic commercials.

Maybe you should try the website, you might learn something by reading instead of being told what to think by the fools

You just reminded me of the day the Democrats left me in the lurch. I had gone to a large lake to fish and the wind was so high that getting on the lake was not possible. Well now, the Dems were having their normal every four year meeting and had allowed a whole bunch of welfare recipients from California to attend the convention. I just happened to turn the TV on to the convention and there were about 30 of those welfare people who had George McGovern trapped on the stairs in his hotel. They demanded that he promise a guaranteed annual wage for everyone. All they wanted was $5600 guaranteed which was quite a sum back in 1972. Anyway I promised myself that if they nominated that socialist bum I would get the hell out of the party. That night they nominated the bastard and the next day I left them since they left me the night before.

I bet you weren't around in 1972, but I was and they threw me out.

George McGovern died a highly respected man who worked hard to end hunger. He was hardly a wild eyed radical. How could he have been one and be elected time after time by the people of South Dakota?

Speaking of respect and legacies, when ever happened to his p**********l opponent after the 1972 e******n???

This "patriot" stuff is heinous and highly dangerous. There are stone k**lers out there, nut jobs, looking for a cause to free their violent tendencies. If they get to think that their murderous tendencies will make them patriotic heroes, praised not condemned, what will they do?

This vicious attempt to make the Democrats or liberals enemy of the state (and enemies of God) is unconscionable. The Right wants unimpaired ownership of wh**ever weapon without regulation but finds Freedom of Speech should be infringed upon to exclude opposition or make any opposing remarks anti-American.

Though I may feel Obama has not done a very good job and some liberal policies are unwise or unrealistic, I also feel that the case against both has been blown way, way out of proportion and has led to our ongoing difficulties. Totally undermining the president seems more like s******n than wanting to feed poor families or immigration reform. The ACA is a mess, yet some of the fault for that lies with Republicans and conservatives undermining it. Instead of taking endless and useless v**es to defund in the House, addressing the problems with the bill and working together to fix it or trash it would have been far more productive...and honest.

Rumitoid,

So I take it that you believe "patriotic" Americans should be denied the right to own armor piercing bullets, flame throwers, grenade launchers, bazookas, tanks and Uzis??? Next thing you know these limp-wristed do-gooders will want nuclear weapons restricted to the U.S. "gummint". When the c****es and Muslims come to get you, are you going to use a housecat to guard your loved ones and loved "stuff". Get a grip, Nancy-boy.
