According to CBS News: LOL! In their attempt to over ride the information Trump will be providing tonight on border security, they are providing this "fact filled" piece. I find it hilarious!

Between 10.7 and 11.3 million unauthorized immigrants were living in the U.S. as of 2016. - - - a gross underestimation. It's more like 30 to 40 million.

396,579 people were caught illegally crossing the border in the year ending September 30, 2018. - - - Yes, caught. How many got through the vast open border which is unprotected????? Way more!!!!

Asylum seekers showed up to their court dates 89 percent of the time in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2017. - - - What about the persent of i******s who get caught but have to be released for a future court date, as in the "catch and release" program?????

The vast majority of illegal drugs — like heroin, cocaine and f******l — entered the country through legal entry points, known officially as ports of entry.
Source: The U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration. Only a "small percentage" of the heroin seized by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents was found "along the land border between Ports of Entry," according to the 2018 National Drug Threat Assessment report, published by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in October. - - - - This is just too funny, as in how could they possibly know about what they DIDN'T CATCH!!?? What a bunch of hooey!!

Undocumented immigrated are ineligible for government welfare benefits and legal immigrants only qualify for federal benefits once they've resided in the U.S. for five years.
Source: National I*********n L*w Center. - - - - LOL! Yes, they don't qualify until they get their F**E IDENTITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

30 -40 million i******s in the US? One in ten folks are here illegally?

Got anything to back up that assertion? I doubt it. Which brings into question the rest your assertions. Here's some visual aids for you ....

Yep. A Yale study found the number of i******s between 16 and 30 million. In other words, we have no clue, but they are everywhere.

As for your graph, when the number of apprehensions decreases, it could very well be that they are much better at not getting apprehended. Get it!?

And the ones with f**e identities are never counted.

Bottom line is that i******s are a great unknown outside of estimates based upon a good many parameters.

Ahh....so now it's 16 to 30 million.

So here is a different study by Pew:

http://www.pewhispanic.org/2018/11/27/u-s-unauthorized-immigrant-total-dips-to-lowest-level-in-a-decade/

You are right that the number is unknown. And I do appreciate you citing the Yale study....at least now I know where you got your number.

No, 40 million is my estimate based upon things you cannot know about. But what the Yale study does is blow the 11million number out of the water.

Face it worky, you are being shammed!

I will face no such thing. Your estimate based on things I cannot know about is argument based on authority. 'It is so because I said so'. Not a valid reason to change my mind. The Yale study does raise some questions but unless you can state why the Yale study is superior to the Pew study we are still where we were at the beginning.

The assertion that one out of 9 folks (40 million) living in this country is here illegally does not square with what I observe. Since the Hispanic population of the US is about 55-56 million what you are saying is that 2 out of 3 Hispanics in the US is here illegally.

That tells me that you would be willing to deport 2 out of 3 Hispanics in the US. That is the reason for using such a high number....start of ethnic cleansing.

You don't get out much do you? And I would be for deporting i******s no matter what the number is. And counting i******s at 30million, conservatively, then there are close to 80 million Hispanics in the US.

So yes, about ten percent in the US are here illegally. A crisis!

And based on numbers you cannot know, I know that there are 20 million Martians here illegally.

So now you are claiming that 1 in 4.5 people in the US is Hispanic. That may be true where you live, but then I would suggest that you get out more. Most figures put the Hispanic population at around 12 to 13 % in the US.

By your reckoning then, we should be deporting 10 of every 12 or 13 Hispanics in the US. You are just treading closer and closer to ethnic cleansing...you know that, right?

If they are illegal, it's not made up. Der. Illegal is illegal. That's what you l*****ts just don't get.

But you also deny the magnitude of the issue in denying funding for a barrier.
