Benn doing a good job for Putin though.

Hey woof, sounds like you're still howling at the moon. I think you need to check the wiring on your accomplishment gauge, you wired it backward. And who is Benn?

Well look at it this way, for a President that doesn’t do anything those January job numbers of 261,000 in an already thriving economy with income levels also increased I hope he keeps doing nothing~~!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Sorry for the Good News

Friday was a bad day in certain media and political precincts as the labor market turned in another gangbuster performance in January. The recession may not be imminent after all, and more people are working and making more money. Apologies to Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren and the writers at Bloomberg for the good news.

It is anathema for dimocrats to give any credit to the right wing. Their gossamer costumes go all aflutter at the thought that perhaps the Republicans should get credit for any political progress of any kind and so they take umbrage at the slightest hint of Republican progress; President Trump has them all in a whirl with his accomplishments and the poor fools can't seem to digest the bitter t***h: Trump is going to win in 2020 by an enormous margin, a veritable landslide. Count on it!

The same things can be said about the Trump supporters as well. The "right" refuses to acknowledge any accomplishments of any Democrats, accredits pre-existing positive trends started by democrats to a succeeding Republican as well as accrediting pre-existing negative trends left by Republicans to succeeding Democrats. I have seen many "righties" blame Obama for the recession he stepped into, and all of you guys accrediting Trump for the positive economic growth that Trump inherited from Obama to Trump. But since You refuse to acknowledge the facts, I don't see any further use in speaking to you on it since it equates to spitting into the wind, so I will likely bail this thread after this.

Not blamed for the recession. But blamed for how he handled the crisis once in office, and how slow and incomplete the recovery under his leadership. Don't conflate the two.

In the first place, the recession was nota Republican caused event. It was caused by the laws put in place by Carter and Clinton concerning the lending of money for mortgages that they knew people could not repay. George Bush went to congress about 17 times trying to get these laws reversed but was rebuffed by Dowd and Frank. When the bubble burst, Bush got the unfair blame. It was a democratic recession that Obama messed up the handling of with his bailouts to failing companies, that he, incidentally, got very rich over.

I knew about Clinton's involvement in changing the lending laws (primarily by repealing the Glass Steagal Act and the signing of the Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act (GLBA)); but didn't know about Carter. So what did Carter do? Or are you referring to Carter Glass of the Glass Steagal Act? And yes, Bush did go 17 times to Congress to try to solve the problem. There was plenty I didn't like about Bush, but have to give him credit there.

Are you always this far out in left field or did you just get confused again?
