I hope so!! I'd definitely want to take a spin I've often wondered why cars couldn't be propelled by opposing magnetics. I guess cuz most of the car would need to be plastic or rubber. But the harder you push the accelerator the closer the opposing magnets come together and the faster the wheels spin kinda thing.

Never going to happen as long as the Koch Brothers spend millions of dollars on maintaining the use of oil and gas.

Technology in this country in the form of T***sportation as long as there is oil in the ground.

Interesting, my guess is that the infrastructure cost model blows air travel away on a longer term.

I dunno, they have a 500 mile working model in Nevada. Imagine being able to go on vacation to Florida or new Mexico or Vegas and being there in a couple of hours WITHOUT plane check in and etc

If they get this up and running the TSA will be there as well. After all it is t***sportation and would fall under their umbrella.

Maybe they can run a link from the mainland to Hawaii and you wouldn't have to fly just go under water in an airtight tube instead.

I hope that's not true. And oil would still be needed, cuz we would still need planes for international travel, and cars.
