Those who are stupid enough to think that Common Core is anything other than a method of turning all control of public education to bureaucrats in DC might not like these videos, but surely the t***h wouldn't harm any of them.
The teacher who left public school because of Common Core says she did it because in education "one size fits all" just doesn't work. She says that although the supporters of CC say that the standards won't determine curriculum that is just what happens. When teachers have to teach to tests surely anybody can see that the standards are determining the curriculum.
Her main argument against CC is that age appropriateness has been ignored by Common Core. For example, CC calls for 7 year olds to be determining adjectives and adverbs which they just aren't ready to do.

Sorry, I don't have the site but it talked about teaching third graders about some basic sex, and by sixth grade discussing ALL the various sex acts. That's TOO MUCH. Maybe parents don't tell their children enough, BUT let the parents have control in this area and keep the d--m school system out of the bedroom. People sued to keep the government out of their bedrooms, time to sue to keep it out of the school.
