You mean you don't want your kids to learn to swim in a close supervised situation.?

The younger generations are just too sensitive.....
What ever happened to "Rub some dirt on it, and get back in the game?"

I'm confused...
Looks pretty safe to me...
That father has got his eye on things...

My dad was always the 'just let him do it and he'll learn on his own' type...
There were a few bumps, bruises, burns and broken bones along the way...
But I learned... Usually only took me a dozen times too..

Nowdays it's considered abuse, or neglect to let kids learn 'life lessons' that way. Looking at all of the things considered dangerous for kids now, it a miracle that I survived!

I feel the same way...

My dad once let me pry open an electrical socket with a fork... Lesson learned the
first time....

And it took breaking my leg to get hom to baby-proof the stairs.... Got some cute pictures of me tottering around the house with a cast on my leg...

Kids today are coddled...
