Ever wish there were a checklist you could go over while filing taxes that allowed you to choose how your taxes were allocated?

Unrealistic I know... But fun to think about...

Would lead to some interesting changes in spending bills...

I do. I've often thought, in this day and age, that v**ers should get to see ALL spending bills before our "representatives" get to v**e on them. Kind of a people's veto sort of thing. If 60% say no, the bill never goes up for a v**e.

Here's a 'radical' idea. Add up all government expenses for the year and divide that by the number of taxpayers and that's the individual bill for each payer. Simple, quick and efficient. You don't get asked your tax bracket when you buy groceries, why should there be different levels of payment for the same government expense?

This is one ridiculous tax idea...work on realistic taxes on real income before going after "wealth" as a taxable thing
