When you are in charge of the most powerful law enforcement agency in the world it is a very credible threat. It is also a violation of the equal protection clause, witness tampering, obstruction of justice, extortion and racketeering. Trumps lawyers ought to take away his twitter account and outfit him with a ball gag every time he is anywhere near a telephone or microphone. When in a hole the first thing to do is stop digging.
