I have checked this item in a couple of places, one is SNOPES. Now I have heard Snopes is in the pocket for Obama, so they may not be telling the truth on the whole story, they say it's false.

BUT, according to the Conservative Daily, and several other sites, 46 Democratic Senators have signed onto the UN Small Arms Agreement. I have not followed it closely, so I am in no position to comment except that I AM AGAINST GIVING ANYTHING TO THE UN, and particularly if it involves our guns.

Here's a couple of sites, would appreciate further comment:

I do know Obama signed onto it (surprise, surprise).

Saw this on a Facebook entry, thought many of you would appreciate it:

This was on a Social Studies Practice Test: Control of the sale and use of guns is a difficult issue in the United States. The 2nd Amendment says that the right to Keep and bear arms shall not be infringed," yet many states have put restrictions on guns.
Those who favor gun control base their arguments on which of the following ideas?
A. Liberty
B. Equality
C. Public Safety
D. Individual Rights
The student penciled in e. Stupidity
Now that's a student after my own heart

I don't know how many have signed on, but it is not enough to pass it yet. One thing that Americans need to know is this. Just because they pass something like this, does not make it right or legal. ANY treaty must also be allowed in our Constitution or it is not legal. In other words, they can sign anything they want, but that does not mean we are bound by it. The government cannot sign on to a treaty that goes against our Constitution.

That's the easy part, now here is the hard part. They will try enforcing it and that is backed by how many guns???? They will most certainly try to enforce it and since they have all that force, they will bravely go forth and try forcing it on us no matter how we feel about it. Since they managed to force all this other garbage down our throats and we didn't revolt, they will try forcing this too. This may just be enough to really start something and I think that is exactly what Obama wants.

I also think they are trying to force us into another world war. I'm not sure exactly why they are doing this, but part of it is they think they will make out like a bandit and come through it fine and much richer. They seem to like wars, since we have had so many of them in the last 100 years alone.

You are so right on all your points. It will take guerilla warfare to attempt to hold them off - but they will have the UN telling the government they are right as we die.

As to a WWIII - OH YES, the money men are rubbing their greedy paws and salivating over the idea. AND, the government will add women on the front line hoping to kill off even more units of outstanding fighting men. If you want women out there - have them go it alone, an all women unit. That would give them a fare shot to see how well they can do.

Here is some of my thought on this subject.

In researching how to take action against my 2 Oregon senators that voted for the UN treaty on guns:
I sent to Publius, Oregon Attorney General, Washington County of Oregon my decision to ask the Oregon Common Law Grand Jury for and indictment against both of Oregon's senators to remove them from office.

Please see below, I think this is creative and doable.

I spoke with Angie this morning. I want to ask the Washington County Common Law Grand Jury for an indictment against Senators Wydon and Merkley.

Good Morning,

I read what the duties of the Oregon Common Law Grand Jury are. This is the correct place to lodge my action against wydon and merkley. Although, it way be that Washington County has not implemented this legal procedure. There are pages of information on this on the Internet. I included 2 addresses for you from among many

I have decided to take action legally and peacefully: Our two Senators along with 46 others broke their oath when they voted for the UN treaty on gun control.

They are aware of the 2nd amendment " shall not infringe" which they did. To change the Constitution, that they took and oath to defend, takes an amendment. Any other action to infringe upon my 2nd amendment rights is showing intent to deprive me of my rights. Just because they tried unsuccessfully does not negate "shall not infringe." Any action is an infringement.

Article III Section 3 states "adhering to their enemies, giving aid and comfort" When these two person voted for a treaty that would in if enacted have infringed on my 2nd amendment rights. Those in the UN that want to disarm American citizens are in fact "enemies" by their desire to deprive me/us of my/our 2nd amendment rights. Those senators 46 that voted to infringe on my/our second amendment rights fulfill the requirements of treason as written in the Constitution of the United States of America. The constitution places this authority in the states rights area of law. Please convene a Hearing where two witnesses may testify so that they may be convicted and removed from office.

I close with love, peace, harmony and a prayer
Don't tread on me

Ron

Common Law Grand Jury
Established in 49 states Iowa is lagging. Most states have representation in every county. Oregon does how is your state doing? All states all counties with names and phone number

Article VII US Constitution
IN A US SUPREME COURT STUNNING 6 TO 3 DECISION JUSTICE ANTONIN SCALIA, writing for the majority, confirmed that the American grand jury is neither part of the judicial, executive nor legislative branches of government, but instead belongs to the people. It is in effect a fourth branch of government “governed” and administered to directly by and on behalf of the American people, and its authority emanates from the Bill of Rights and has the power to enforce law and remove people from office. (See US Supreme Court Decisions, Volume 504 pages 36 to 49 year 1992)
“As democracy is perfected, the office of the President represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and a complete narcissistic moron.”
H.L. Mencken, The Baltimore Evening Sun, July 26, 1920.
