She’s not our leader yet. She can’t cancel anything the President chooses to do.
If I were Trump, I wouldn’t want to go to the House. He’s been disinvited due to a seething hatred. The Senate invited him. I hope he continues to perform temper tantrums for the benefit of Nancy and Company.

I think she only has the power to not invite the president to speak in the Congressional House chamber. The SOTU is more a speech to the American people than one just to congress. The president can make thst speech from the oval office, the front lawn, etc. In fact, I think it would be great if the governor and legislature of a state that v**ed overwhelmingly for Trump to invite him to offer his SOTU address there, and assure him of a huge crowd. The media couldn't resist covering it so the address would go out to all Americans who chose to listen, including congress. AND, this way, there would be no nasty, disgraceful behavior from democrats or anyone. There would be no dems bringing furloughed federal employees to spout their pitiful stories on national TV. It would be Trump in his element speaking to a huge crowd of supporters, where he excels. Screw congress. And screw every republican representative in the House and Senate because none have stood up against the democrats unprofessional, unChristian, unforgivable treatment of the president of their country.

There are noises coming out of the hill that Trump is talking about having McConnell do it, I can see that happening for sure...

My guess is Trump has nothing to talk about except moronic stuff he'd be better off not saying. If McConnell does it he can tell him what he wants said and McConnell can take the heat.

Too right. THEY know what’s on the border and how dangerous the situation is, but their hatred of Trump is overwhelming.

She handled nothing beautifully. She does not have the power to tell him he cannot give his state of the union speech in the House of Representatives.

But tell them not to worry they will get their money soon I think the government will be back in business tomorrow Evening. My son in law works for homeland security. And has not received a Pay Check. He told me That all homeland Security personnel he has talked to feel as though it's their patriotic sacrifice for America And we the people of America. THey said no crying Here.

She didn't want him to give the state of the union address because of security.
Then she lined up extra security for her seven day trip.
She then lied and said she was flying commercial, but Trump made the trip dangerous by mentioning it.
What a liar. She doesn't fly commercial.
