It can be given in writing, of course everything Trump wants to say would be written perjury...Pelosi does not "have" to let Trump in the house, he can do it from the oval office, nothing says he has to do it from the House.

One hour of lies about his non existent successes, record breaking economy from early last year which will disregard the current status, crying and whining about how unfair and bad dems are being, how this is their fault even though McConnell is refusing a v**e to give Trump cover.

I'm not sure she can do that, but if she can or is allowed to do so, she has lost it. It's been a time-honored tradition to hear the President once a year, no matter who it is. For Pelosi to do this is about as low as you can go. It's a downright insult to the office, not President Trump but to the office of the Presidency. Pathetic, but not in the least bit surprising. and yes it has become an honored tradition, and Trump has no honor, integrity, or ability to tell the t***h, so why waste the airtime? He can deliver a written state of the union to congress so they can laugh about it without subjecting the public to it.
